The Chocolate Diamond is an adorable, private 1 bedroom 1 bath bungalow with hot tub and outdoor fireplace. Just 2 blocks from the heart of Main Street. This private home offers a fully stocked kitchen, 1 king bed, shower, full living room with attached dining room - perfect for a couple! WALK to it all and afterward, come back and sit in the hot tub by the fire! Managed by Heavenly Hosts Permit Number: 805600_1102

BURN BAN EFFECTIVE - Gillespie County Burn Ban is ON, effective October 14, 2025 at 5:00 PM.: Attached please find a local DECLARATION OF DISASTER & ORDER RESTRICTING OUTDOOR BURNING related to imminent threat of wildfires. Restrictions: NO open fires/burning and NO smoking.

As a result, outdoor wood-burning fire pits are NOT permitted. This mandate is enforced by the city and county and is beyond our control. You are welcome to use Gas fire pits and BBQ grills, if applicable. For charcoal grills, please leave all hot coals in the grill to cool completely, we will handle proper disposal. Please review the property listing to confirm the type of fire pit and grill available, if applicable. If it is discovered that the fire pits/chimineas/fireplaces were used or wood was burned during your stay, a fine starting at $100 will be applied. This is a serious fire safety issue, and we kindly ask that you comply with all city-mandated regulations. Thank you for your understanding!

It was a great home. Only two things that could make it better was the A/C to cool the house off better. And the small shower was uncomfortable. Loved the location and easy to walk to everything!

Having stayed long-term in two previous BnBs that I considered extremely perfect, I was not quite as pleased with this one. My first one was sold out way back. My current one is on-the-market now. A couple of things that were not pleasing here: 1) BnB means "Bed and Breakfast", I believe? There was absolutely nothing in this location to snack on at all. A bit surprising based on my past., and 2) Not being incredibly young, the sitting/sleeping items were not very comfortable for us. I understand they are probably okay for others... but they were not really good for us. Just basic info for you since I will not return to this location. Thank you.

Quaint and close to it all!

I work in the VR industry and I would highly recommend this property because it was a spacious one bedroom, never felt cramped. I really enjoyed the relaxing courtyard space with hot tub, great place to unwind. And can't beat the location, being so close to main St., a walkable pie shop and a little thrift store... you could get lost in the charm! Thought was put into every detail of the home and it came well stocked. Can't wait to stay at another one of their homes next time I visit!

Pleasant stay

Cozy, comfortable cottage. Close to main street, easily walkable. Shower is very small but adequate. Enjoyed the hot tub. Would stay here again.

Just okay

I will start by saying, this was a cute place and the bed was comfy. It was odd that this place was advertised as a one bedroom, but upon arrival there was a locked 2nd bedroom, this creeped me out as I was staying alone. I saw the mention of pest control in the description so it had me a little skeptical, but I looked past it thinking ants, maybe spiders. To be 100% transparent (because I wish someone was on here before booking) the pests are roaches 😭 I am terribly afraid of roaches and there was a dead one in the doorway when walking into the house, a small dead one in a bowl in the drawer and all over the backyard and in the firewood (the big flying wood roaches). This made enjoying the backyard and hot tub very hard (for me.) Additionally there is very little light in the backyard and a large over hanging tree limb over the hot tub blocking the stars even if you could make it past the roaches. My relaxing 30th birthday trip turned into an on edge trip.

Mamas Getaway

A cute little house very close to Main Street. The beds were comfortable, cute little kitchen, dining nook and living area to relax. Bathroom is a little small for multiple people. Bedrooms could use ceiling fans to circulate air better at night. But overall, we enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful time!! The property was perfect for us. Comfortable beds, hot tub, and walking distance to downtown. We plan to stay here again on our next trip to Fredericksburg!

Weekend family getaway

Cute cottage in town. Has everything you need for a family getaway. Hot tub and fire pit was a nice extra It’s very close to downtown Fredericksburg so you don’t have to worry about driving and trying to find a parking space. Location is very quiet. We will definitely come back.
