Listing Description: This cozy country guesthouse offers the perfect calming retreat for your next getaway! Quietly nestled among mature foliage and surrounded by spectacular views, you’ll enjoy a slower pace while appreciating all the sights and sounds this picturesque setting offers. Sip your morning coffee on the porch as deer pass through the yard, then set out for adventure on the local waterways or hiking trails. We look forward to welcoming you and then sending you off refreshed for whatever lies ahead!

Guest Access: We are located off a private road that dead-ends at a private lake (not accessible, views only). Our circular driveway provides ample parking for large vehicles. Upon arrival, you’ll enjoy self-check-in by accessing your key via lockbox.

Other things to note: We do not have a stove in the kitchen, but we have a microwave and toaster to prepare simple meals or reheat leftovers.

Wonderful Place!

Laura was an amazing host! She was super accommodating and communication was easy. Her and Dan’s place is clean, quiet and very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Highly recommended booking this quaint space.

We loved this neighborhood. It was a wooded location with close proximity to their little town. Very safe feel. Good at The Tin Lantern was amazing. Home was well stocked and host very accommodating.

We booked this cabin for the night of our wedding. It was ten minutes away from the venue. It was a very nice, and quiet stay. Just what we were hoping for. The snacks were a nice touch and much needed after a night of hardly eating. I would recommend to anyone.

We’re nestled among the trees on a peaceful, private street that dead-ends at the lake. This Meadow Vista neighborhood boasts the best of both worlds. Feel serenely tucked away while also enjoying proximity to all the essentials, like restaurants, a grocery store, and our favorite coffee shop, The Local CafĂ©, all within about a mile of our home. In addition, we’re just 10 minutes from downtown Auburn and 45 minutes from Boreal and Lake Tahoe. Appreciate proximity to Lake Tahoe without having to pay Tahoe Airbnb prices!

Our private guesthouse has its own separate entrance and deck. You’ll be amazed by how roomy this cozy suite feels! Step inside and enjoy complimentary coffee, tea, snacks, and bottled water in the dine-in kitchen. Then curl up in the living area to choose a show from the selection of streaming services on the flatscreen TV. With a double bed, a single bed, and a floor mattress, we have plenty of room to sleep four comfortably. We also offer a porta-crib and highchair for little ones upon request.
