You are also a very short walk to our largest park in town, Condon Park. It has a disc golf course, good trails, and a dog park.

I loved staying in this cozy cottage! It was in a great location for walking to downtown and different trails. The hosts were very nice and responsive.

Our host were very kind and welcoming. The home was very clean and fresh. Lots of little extras to make our stay very comfortable. The bathroom was squeaky clean with white fresh soft towels. The fenced yard was great for our pup, and we had outside seating to have morning coffee in the quiet little neighborhood

This cottage is so adorable and has everything you need for your stay! It is very clean, has a great front yard and back porch/yard area, coffee and tea bar, snacks to get you started, and it’s really close to downtown area. Perfect to walk into downtown area for shopping and dining. Neighborhood is quiet and safe. I would definitely recommend it and I will stay here again!

This quaint little cottage under the pines/first? was exactly what I needed for a three-day getaway from Sac...just slept in, read, cooked, and watched movies with my pups and a friend. Everything was impeccable, cleanly to a fault, and utterly gorgeous and adorable. I enjoyed cooking gourmet Italian food and breakfasts in the amazing kitchen (nice gas range!). I really loved the color theming throughout, as navy and butter-yellow are two of my favorite colors. Matthew is very responsive to guests' messages, too, which is always appreciated. I'm in love with this place and will definitely be back!

They took it over the top with all the little things they provided to make you feel at home. Made us feel like kids in a candy store with all the yummy goodies. Very clean and comfortable loved hanging out on the front porch and enjoying all the wild life and humming birds. Thank you for making my husband birthday a memorable one. We will definitely will go back for another enjoyable visit.

Quartz Cottage

The best Vrbo stay! The place was decorated very nice. The antiques in the place was a perfect touch. The owner provided snacks, Coffee & Tea. Matthew communicated with us very quickly on our inquiry. Place was spotless! Who ever cleans for the owner did an amazing job. You would be very comfortable staying here. The outside seating and fireplace table were a nice touch for sitting out.

Golden Experience in Gold Country

We felt fortunate to find this spot on our visit to see friends in Grass Valley. Great location for exploring the area. Enjoyed observing hummingbirds at the porch feeder, especially when they perched in the mature redwood in the front yard. We would choose this property when we visit again.

Charming!

Charming house with all the amenities, well-decorated and roomy. Nice front and back yard with huge trees and nice landscaping. Very safe and relaxing stay..I'm making this my getaway spot for sure!

Perfect 4 Two + dog

This is our second time staying at Quartz Cottage. It's just big enough for my wife and I plus our Labradoodle. With my wife having to use a walker all the time there's just enough room for her to maneuver inside and only a single step to get outside. And the fenced in yard is a plus for letting the dog outside. We can visit friends in the area without imposing on them for a bed. We will be back.

Cute place. Convenient and quiet.

Stayed while at the Carving retreat like others. Two of us. The second bed is a pull out in a bedroom but same comfort as other bed. Lots of snacks, coffee and essentials for a stay. Didn’t cook, but all the stuff is there. If you are there in winter, turn on your heaters in the room. That’s your heat.

Great location, walking distance to the Fairgrounds, Downtown and Condon Park. The park has a disk golf course, a nice amount of trails and a dog park. You have the whole house with fenced in yard. It is a great place to cook full meals or use as your home base to enjoy all the dining Nevada County has to offer.
