We are located less than a mile from Fitzhugh Road, 13 miles from downtown Austin and 8 miles from Dripping Springs.

The property, set on a gated and super private acre, is surrounded by mature oak studded yards to spread out & enjoy the outdoors-with fire pit, hammock, corn hole, walking trails, 2 outdoor dining tables, and several lounge areas - all beautifully lit by twinkling lights and lanterns in the evenings.

Inside the cottage is light filled & stylish, spacious under vaulted rustic corrugated metal ceilings & generous with modern amenities including stocked kitchen with center island, European linens & curated records, books & games to enjoy round the fireplace.

Begin your day on the lovely back porch, nestled into the settee and delighting in the morning sunrise seen through majestic oak trees, a cup of coffee in hand from the Keurig or the French press. Whip up a fresh breakfast in the stocked modern country kitchen, enjoyed inside at the large kitchen island or outside at the cozy backyard table or front yard picnic table. Or head out to one of the locally owned bakeries and restaurants - one of our favorites is right up the street, a lovely country-road stroll for true morning folk.

Put a record on the record player and enjoy the cool A/C in the hotter months, or the warming electric fireplace and outdoor fire table when it's chilly. Browse through a selection of collected books, board games and puzzles, play a little guitar, stream your favorite shows, or enjoy an afternoon siesta in the outdoor hammock. Feeling energetic? Have fun with a game of corn hole or venture out and explore the awesomeness of Central Texas - your options are truly endless. Enjoy the blissful silence of evenings in hill country, surrounded by intensely starry skies. Delight in popping open a newly discovered local wine, beer or spirit while relaxing in the back yard under the mature oaks' twinkling lights or cozied up at the outdoor fire table.

As the day comes to an end, sleep blissfully on Temperpedic mattresses dressed in the softest jersey and European linen bedding, dreaming of your perfect Texas day. The cottage is the perfect stay for a small group of friends, two couples, or small families. There is parking for 2 cars, tandem style, and the property is gated, completely fenced and totally private. There is a dishwasher, washer and dryer for your use and detergent is provided. Also provided is toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dish towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and tooth brushes if you forget yours. Enjoy all the kitchen basics including flour, sugars, oils and spices, along with teas, coffees, sugars and creamers. Kitchen Aid blender, Keurig coffee maker, Brita water filter, toaster, microwave, pots and pans, baking sheets and pans, and beautiful serving ware and glass ware are included.

While you'll enjoy the peacefulness of country living, within a 3-minute drive you'll have the convenience of an HEB grocery store, Summer Moon Coffee (our favorite!), and Belterra Village (with 10+ restaurants -including Torchy's Tacos- a full beauty/nail salon/spa, liquor store, wine cellar, Golds gym and a move theatre). And the charming town of Dripping Springs and the convenience of Circle C and Oak Hill neighborhoods are a mere 10 minutes away, as well as all the wineries, breweries, distilleries and wedding venues you can dream of. And in 15 minutes you'll be in downtown Austin!
