Always wanted to stay on an Island, Cabin Beaver is for you. Sunrises are amazing, peaceful except for the loons, geese, frogs, ducks, soft lapping of the water and sounds of breeze and occasional boats. Kayak and Canoe while exploring Green lake in Front and Boggy Brooke in back. A step up from camping. Hot water outdoor shower, lake water for dishes, Bottled water for drinking, Firepit, Small beach, Comfortable and Serene. Acadia for day trips is 20 miles, grocery and seafood stores 10-15 minutes. Special place for the right people.

We loved staying at Cabin Beaver. The wildlife we got to see on the island made the trip extra special. Had a little trouble getting our things back to the car due to lake being low and high winds that day.

Fantastic lakefront cabin. Dogs enjoyed the beach area very much. Kayaking was wonderful. We enjoyed the back to the basics of it all and nostalgic cabin feel. We chose to sleep downstairs on the futon and woke up to views out the large windows.

Bird watching was incredible. Wild blueberries everywhere. Canoe access is easy. Weather was perfect. Inflatable rafts provided to access swimming in Green Lake from rocky shore.

This was such a great experience! Jennifer and Jack were amazing hosts and they helped make our trip the best it could be. Cabin beaver had everything we needed and even had a great outdoor shower. We were never bored and were so close to Ellsworth and Acadia. We easily got our two large breed dogs across in the canoe. Would recommend this place to anyone!

This was absolutely everything we needed for our vacation. You can really relax and take in all the beautiful nature around you. It really was an island experience and so incredibly peaceful! Jack & Jennifer were great hosts. I can't recommend this place enough!

Highly recommend staying here!

Loved our stay at Cabin Beaver! Cannot say enough good things about our stay. We went into the week expecting a great time but this place exceeded all of our expectations. Cabin is very well kept and well stocked with all the essentials. Loved our evening and morning sits over looking the lake listening to the loons and watching the bald eagles. Would highly recommend staying here!

Island Paradise

Everything was wonderful. It's great to be on both Green Lake and Boggy Brook. The camp had everything we needed and we enjoyed kayaking most days.

Charming Cabin by the Lake

A great place to stay if you want to experience camping & lake life with some luxuries like a shower & fully stocked kitchen. The cabin was very comfortable. The hosts have thought of everything to make it very welcoming. Acadia is not too far away but you will probably want to stay on the island to canoe & kayak.

Magical Adventure for Kids

We had such an amazing time at Cabin Beaver! Fishing, canoeing and kayaking, seeing and experiencing all the wildlife, relaxing and playing together… the cabin had it all. Beautiful location in DownEast and close to everything Acadia has to offer, but returning to the cabin each day was a highlight for our young kiddos. Thank you so much Jennifer & Jack for this special getaway.

Quiet Cabin Getaway

Everything was perfect. The hosts are great, very easy to communicate with and have thought of everything to make the stay feel comfortable. The cabin is clean, and has everything you need. The lake was also clean and the water was very warm to swim in. The canoe was a lot of fun. Will be back again!

Wonderful Get Away

The hosts were above and beyond kind. The cabin was immaculate and private. My husband and I (and our two Yorkies) enjoyed every second of our stay. Everything that we could need was already in the cabin. We loved the wildlife outside and our opportunity to deepen our connection with God. We would love to return in the future.

If your looking for a place for you to chill and have fun or have some time to yourself this place is it! Everything was top notch!! It had everything you would need. Absolutely wonderful stay! My husband and I, and our two sons, made some great memories. The location was perfect. Very peaceful - we loved the sound of the loons! The cabin was so cozy and nice. Very clean. We appreciated the use of the kayaks and canoes. The boys loved fishing and swimming. On a rainy day we watched movies and played games - all of which were provided. The outdoor shower was a fun addition. We will definitely be telling people about our stay. Thank you again for an amazing stay.
