Excellent communication, and host has informative guidebook in room.Pictures are entirely accurate (you can rely on them).Comfortable bed and bedding; each sleeper has choice of two pillows.The nearby private beach area is close; wading is OK but rocky.Location near ferry landing is awesome; very drivable from there.There is a separate grill for each of this unit and the main house.HVAC worked just fine.Kitchen was well supplied.Unbelievable water pressure (strong) in shower/sinks.Water (only warm or cold too??) smells like sulfur; we were told it's natural to island.

We stayed in a newly remodeled and immaculate second floor unit. The kitchenette is a little cramped, but we loved the huge living/sleeping space. Be sure to let the host know if you have concerns about climbing stairs, they run several units at this address. The stairs were well lit, and both we and our large dog were able to handle them with no problem. The landing at our entry forms a nice balcony overlooking the yard, which includes a fire area. The lake access is a nice touch. I'd stay here again for our next visit to W. Island.

Quiet and peaceful

This place is a great location, and it was spacious and comfortable for two people. The island is very laid back, and a great place to get some rest. Everything in the suite was in great condition and very comfy. The host is an excellent communicator.

Perfect Getaway

Great little place for a nice getaway. Room is exactly as advertised and location is perfect. Within walking distance of the ferry. Host was extremely helpful with ideas of places to go before we arrived to asking if we needed anything and helping with items after we arrived as well. Would highly recommend for a nice place to get away.

It was wonderful to stay at a very lovely place. The Redstart & Red Eye Vireo birds were wonderful to sing all day for us in the trees right outside the porch. We brought our bikes and enjoyed the quiet roads, woods, wildlife, the bay all with minimal to no traffic. Everything is close, accessible, and relaxing. Remember to smell the Lavender at Fragrant Isle and best meal ever at Sailors Pub.

Above garage studio. Basic kitchen amenities. Nice size tub with wonderfully hot water. Air conditioning and ceiling fan. Dog-friendly space - if you have allergies or sensitivities, I would note this. WiFi available. Very much appreciated this bc reception on the island was spotty.We loved the private beach, walking distance. There is a net hammock there where we sat and watched the boats coming and going for hours. Perfect place to sit quietly, read a book or chat. Not a great swimming beach but serene space.Communicative, kind host. Thanks so much!
