Belle maison dans un quartier historique

La maison de deux étages de 2 000 pieds carrés est située dans le quartier historique de Lavaca, juste au sud du centre-ville. Il y a deux salles de bain et quatre chambres. Trois chambres ont des lits queen, et la quatriÚme a un lit queen et un jumeau. Un canapé-lit gigogne queen-size et un matelas pneumatique sont également disponibles. La télévision par cùble est dans le salon. Les autres équipements incluent un lecteur DVD et une sélection de films, des jeux de société, Internet sans fil, une laveuse et une sécheuse et une cuisine bien équipée.

Parfait pour les familles et les groupes. La proximité du centre des congrÚs le rend idéal pour les groupes assistant à des conférences d'affaires.

Les groupes de plus de 8 membres doivent ĂȘtre approuvĂ©s par le propriĂ©taire.


Quartier: Cette jolie maison loin de chez soi est située juste au sud du centre-ville dans le quartier de Lavaca, le plus ancien quartier résidentiel de San Antonio. De la porte d'entrée, il est à quelques pas de l'Alamo, du Riverwalk, Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, Alamodome, Rivercenter Mall, le complexe Blue Star Arts et de nombreuses autres attractions.

Transport: Si vous voulez voir le meilleur de San Antonio et ne voulez pas vous occuper de la conduite, notre maison est parfaite pour vous!

C'est une promenade de sept pùtés de maisons de la Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center et sept pùtés de maisons de l'Alamo. Si vous préférez ne pas marcher ou si vous vous rendez quelque part un peu plus loin, ce n'est qu'à un pùté de maisons du systÚme de transport en commun de San Antonio, y compris les routes Viva, qui partent toutes les 15 minutes, et des bus qui se connectent à toutes les parties de la ville. San Antonio B-Cycle, notre fabuleux service de partage de vélos, a également plusieurs stations à proximité. Si vous avez un véhicule, il y a un accÚs facile à l'autoroute et un parking hors rue pour quatre voitures.

This historic home is so lovely and well appointed. The location cannot be beat. We walked to most of our weekend activities. The neighborhood is also friendly and quiet.

Host was communicative and responsive throughout our stay. Check-in instructions were clear and concise as well as the expectations. Amenities in the house were nice, functioned well and overall the house was comfortable. Location was PERFECT. Safe, quiet neighborhood within walking distance to most everything we wanted to get to. Gated driveway for our rental vehicle was a bonus.

The host was very helpful. The house is very conveniently located. Close to downtown and close to good restaurants. The house is charming and homey and a fine specimen (more than 100 years old) with high ceilings and fine woodwork. The kitchen was well stocked with staples. We enjoyed the neighborhood feel. It was perfect for us, a group of friends attending a conference. Beds comfortable, homey all around.

OMG! Where do I start! The house was amazing. The owner stocked the kitchen so well, if you didn’t want to leave you had most everything you wanted to prepare a meal. The house was clean and comfortable. You are within walking distance to the River Walk about a mile, we did it and will not do that again. We are old! Lol and it was hard on our bodies in the heat. Some of us, who are cat lovers, loved the cats! I finally made friends with one of them before our stay ended. The owner is amazing! The contact between myself and the owner was great! I would love to talk to him more about the home! If ever returning to San Antonio, I would definitely stay here again!

Location Location Location

Location could not be better. Perfect for Lackland AFB graduations. 15 minute drive to the base. You can walk to Riverwalk in 15 minutes. All kinds of restaurants to walk to close to the home. Randy is a great host. The beds are very comfy. Pantry stocked with some food if you don't make it to the store in time. HEB market is fantastic. We would definitely rent this historical home again. Randy even has directions to the different sites.

A Week in Southtown

Overall we loved the area. Plenty to do within short walking distances for all ages, a ton of great restaurants, and in a great old neighborhood. The house is old and had great character but with any old house its constantly in need of work. There were obvious projects ongoing in and outside the house. No big deal but would've been nice to know prior to arrival (the yard was a mess, nails/screws in the driveway, outside trash cans hadn't been taken to the curb in awhile). To sum it up. We loved the house but it needs some TLC, the area is amazing, and there is no shortage of great things to do.

Location!

While the house was older and there was a lot of cosmetic work to be done on the house, the location can not be beat!!!! Plus, a driveway for parking! That's huge for the San Antonio area. 10 min walk to the Riverwalk and tons of restaurants nearby as well. Only a 6 min drive to the Historic Outdoor Market which was also fun to walk around in. Only 35 mins to the Natural Bridges Cavern, which was beautiful. He had the house stocked with food in case we needed anything, which was awesome. Overall, great stay and would stay there again. If you're looking for new and up to date furnishings, etc...this isn't for you, but again, the location was literally perfect!!! Had a great time relaxing in the formal dining area playing cards after walking all over San Antonio. The owner was responsive within minutes of texting him and he was very accommodating. Highly recommend!

Sisters Reunion

My sisters and I chose colorful San Antonio for our first reunion since Mom passed away. This lovely older home offered us a warm welcome, enhanced by its comfortable beds and its enormous dining room table. We watched digitized home movies of our childhood on the living room TV and browsed old family photos on the big table. The neighborhood was fun to explore, especially its delicious local dining scene. Location was great for walking to the heart of the River Walk and just about anywhere. One day we even walked (one way only!) to Mission Concepcion. Owner provided us with lots of helpful information in advance of our visit. We had a fabulous time and would love to return some day!

Great neighborhood

Great place to stay, convenient to everything. Easy walk to Riverwalk and Alamodome (in town for the Final Four,go Gators!). Off street parking was a plus. The Tommy-provided essentials of fruit, milk, eggs, etc. was a nicetouch. Would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful home

If this home had been completely restored, this home would be absolutely beautiful! It took me back to my childhood memories. We would definitely stay again if we are back down that way. We all had a great time. Walking distance to riverwalk. Plenty to keep us busy!

Perfect Friends Weekend

We were in town for the Donut Dash, but wanted a place where we could hang out afterwards.We absolutely loved the dinning room table, it was perfect for us to enjoy a meal and play games around.Our host was excellent!!! Communication was easy and honest.We will stay here again if it is available on race weekend again!!

Convenient, comfortable location with charm

My wife and I with 3 adult children, who were home for spring break, truly enjoyed this 4-bedroom home. It was comfortable for all of us, and in a great, safe location. We were able to walk everywhere downtown (Riverwalk, Hemisfair Park, Tower of the Americas, Majestic Theater, Tobin Center, Alamo, San Fernando Cathedral, ghost tour, also really close to South Town restaurants). San Antonio is a great city, and we feel like experts of its history now. Host was great! We will definitely come back!

Tired historic home with a great location

This Victorian home was once beautiful. It has a great location, within walking distance of many restaurants, as well as the Riverwalk. It has four bedrooms, two bathrooms, plenty of hot water, and off-street parking! However, the house looks tired. The interior walls need to be repaired and repainted. The stove does not work well; we couldn’t get one burner to light at all. Some of the pans were dirty before we used them and had to be washed. We didn’t find the sharp knives until the last day as they were hidden under some hot pads. There is little counter space on which to work in the kitchen.Some basic supplies were missing: garbage bags, dish detergent, shampoo, and tissues. The kitchen was dark, with three of the four lightbulbs in the overhead fixture being burned out. The light under the microwave was also burned out.The food that was bought for us was a nice touch, but we would have preferred to have provided our own food, and to have had the expected supplies and clean dishes, and light bulbs replaced.Finally, we visited San Antonio after a cold spell, and the windows and doors were drafty, allowing cold air to blow into the house.Overall, we would rate this experience a 6 on a scale of 10.
