This cute property, has everything you need for a large group/family. Lots of games, multiple bedrooms, kitchen well outfitted, wonderful outdoor space. Cozy, adk decorated, easy to contact host. There are small up and downs inside so folks need to know to step up or down from room to room. My son particularly liked the loft set up, I think it was the best in the house!

Nice Visit to Lake George

The property was great. Plenty of space in the cabin and outdoors. Very neatly kept. Plus, a nice fire pit area outside. Very quiet area so it's great for relaxation.

Quiet and relaxing

The property was beautiful and had everything we need. It was great place to unwind after our bisit to the water safari. Its close to town but also far enough away. The host was easy to contact and responded quickly. We hope to stay here again in the future.

Perfect Old Forge Escape

I stayed here last year and enjoyed it so much that I booked another stay this summer. If you stay here, other than groceries, you will not need to purchase anything else. David provides a Keurig coffeemaker with tons of coffee selection, all of the spices and oils you need for cooking and S’mores ingredients. He even has plenty of firewood for campfires. The house had plenty of space for my family of five. We enjoyed playing Utica Monopoly and putting together his numerous puzzles. David was an outstanding resource of where to eat as he successfully steered me to Billy’s and Archie’s Alley. There is also a barbecue and plenty of space for the kids to play in the backyard. The location is remote enough to encounter bears and deer, but less than a ten minute drive to downtown Old Forge. All in all, staying here made our trip extra special!

If I Could Give David 6 Stars, I Would....

My family of five, including a 13 year old boy, a 10 year old girl and s 7 year old girl visited Old Forge for the first time. This property is only 5 minutes from town, yet provides peace and quiet. The outdoor space has multiple fire pits, a large propane grill and two awesome swings attached to a large tree for the kids. The kitchen is stocked with every condiment, utensil and appliance you could possible need. The owner, David, even provides K cups for the coffee maker. We were also very fond of a special pan used to make custom pancakes. David was so gracious that he let us take the pan home with us! Dining room provides seating for 6-8 people and has a pull-out futon. The cabin has a large master bedroom and a smaller bedroom on the first floor. Upstairs is a loft area with two beds and a TV. There are at least 4 TVs in the house. The cabin is on Hollywood Drive which is a beautiful road that runs alongside First lake as you are heading to town. Great place to bike or rollerblade as the morning mist rises off of the lake. Anytime I needed recommendations on things to do, places to eat, David responded in a timely manner, which made our trip even better. Our family is already planning our next trip to Old Forge and hope that this property will be available again next year.
