We take great pride in our property, and we find it very difficult to reconcile your comments with the actual state of the home. We maintain a rigorous cleaning and professional pest control schedule, and our electrical systems are regularly inspected and fully functional. Furthermore, we have had no reports of "musty smells" or "worn furniture" from previous guests, making these claims particularly confusing. It is disappointing that these concerns were not mentioned once during your stay. We provide 24/7 support specifically to address any guest needs immediately; had we been notified of even a single flickering light, we would have sent our maintenance team to your door within the hour. We noticed your comments regarding the cost of the stay. It appears your disappointment may be more closely linked to "buyer's remorse" regarding the price point rather than the physical reality of the property. While we understand that expectations vary, it is unfair to characterize a well-maintained beachfront home in this manner simply because the stay did not align with your personal budget expectations. We are glad you enjoyed the prime location, but we are deeply saddened that you chose to share these inaccurate claims only after your departure, depriving us of the chance to assist you on-site. We’re also glad you were able to take advantage of the jet ski and tubing rentals in the cove. Regarding your concerns: Please accept my sincerest apologies for the issues you encountered with the linens and the lounge cushions. We pride ourselves on maintaining high standards, and it is clear we missed the mark during your visit. Cleanliness: We have already met with our housekeeping team to investigate the stains you mentioned and ensure our quality control process is more rigorous moving forward. Maintenance: Your feedback regarding the exterior wear and tear and the moldy cushions has been handed directly to our maintenance crew for immediate replacement and repair. Privacy: We also appreciate the suggestion regarding the hedges. We are always looking for ways to improve the guest experience and will certainly look into landscaping options to provide a more secluded feel for the outdoor lounge area. Thank you for your review. I would like to make a brief correction regarding the situation. The guest only informed us of the reduced group size at the time of check-in. As previous guests have attested, the beds provided are of excellent quality. It appears that the dissatisfaction expressed by this particular guest might be driven by an unrelated issue, perhaps an unsuccessful attempt to secure a refund. Furthermore, she repeatedly called the manager throughout the day, seemingly in an attempt to voice complaints and seek refunds. It's worth noting that the beds and lighting were in excellent condition, with no reported problems. The overall experience for the group of seven was positive, except for the individual who seemed to consistently seek reasons for complaint in an apparent effort to obtain a refund.
