The host is extremely communicative and responds to messages quickly. She checked in on us the day after we arrived, and obviously cares about the guest experience. The home was clean, though pretty small. It's perfect for one to two people. It's nothing fancy, but check-in was easy, the host is great and it was the right place for what we needed.

This is a great location - close to everything and easy access. The fresh flowers made me feel welcome! I will definitely stay here again when visiting family.

Wonderful stay

This was a very amazing stay, great price and amazing location.. I would definitely love to stay here when I come back.. The rental was super clean and cozy.. And I was able to just come back and relax after work..

This was a great location and property. Quiet and convenient to all locations in Juneau both attractions and things like grocery and bank etc. will definitely stay here again while visiting family.

Cozy Apartment

Clean, quiet area, close to Mendehall Glacier. Had everything one would need. Just bring your own food if you plan to cook. Would stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The property owner responded very quickly and with good grace when we locked ourselves out. We would definitely choose this property again. I really can't say enough good things about our stay.

Lovely apartment—comfortable furniture and well appointed (except the mattress which has dips and pokey places). Full kitchen. Great location for Mendenhall & park. Laundry with soap provided. Fresh flowers. Heat is finicky—but she gave us tips that worked. 4 stars because of the bed and customer service approach. She kindly asked how our first night had been—we described the highlights and also the loud and persistent noise above our heads at 7:30 am (after our known late night arrival) that woke up even my normally-heavy-sleeping husband for long enough that he couldn’t go back to sleep (I eventually did). She said it was likely her excited-for-a-walk dogs and she understood we were more sensitive to noise than normal because we were “sleeping in,” giving her their first ever noise complaint and did not apologize. It sounded to us like furniture being moved around and it persisted for a good while. As an innkeeper in the past, I definitely would have apologized for loud noise I caused that woke our guests at that time, especially after a known late arrival. Otherwise, though, a highly recommended place to stay.

Thank you for your feedback and for highlighting the many things you enjoyed about the apartment, including the location, kitchen, laundry amenities, and fresh flowers. I’m sorry your morning was disrupted by noise from upstairs. As noted in the listing, the apartment is located below our family’s main living area, so guests should expect to hear normal household sounds from time to time. We are an active family with two Labrador retrievers, and when I let them outside in the morning they get very excited. Their wagging tails have a tendency to bang against walls, doors, and anything nearby, which I believe was the noise you were hearing. When you reached out during your stay, I responded with what I believed was the most likely explanation and offered suggestions for the thermostat, which can run warmer than expected until guests find a comfortable setting. I certainly never intended to make you feel dismissed, and I’m sorry my response came across that way. Regarding the mattress, comfort is very subjective, and I understand that not every mattress is the right fit for every guest. This is the first feedback I’ve received about the mattress in three years of hosting, but I will still inspect it carefully to make sure it remains in good condition. Thank you again for staying with us and for taking the time to share your experience.
