Located on Pelican Shores. Marsh Harbour, Central Abaco, Bahamas. About 5minutes (walking)from the Marsh Harbour Marina & Jib Room Restaurant and Bar and about 10minutes/1.5km (walking) from the Abaco Beach Resort & Dockside (grocery store/liquor store). Minutes away from the ferry dock, airport,groceries, pharmacy, restaurants/bars, much more.

4bedroom 4bath open plan w/ high ceilings - villa is on the waterfront with its own private beach and fresh water pool. Free WiFi & Smart TVs in every room. Fully equipped Modern Kitchen w/ dishwasher, coffee maker, smokeless indoor grill (outdoor grill also), toaster,blender & Laundry Center (washer,dryer,ironing board & iron). Back-up generator for a peace of mind during your stay Local businesses are open (old & new).
Snorkel gear for up to 8 guests.
2 person kayak on property

We will do our best to make sure you have all you need for a wonderful vacation!

We do suggest renting a car for the duration of your stay as there are many things to see on island.

We do not offer dockage but we are located just minutes from The Jib Room Marina as well as Abaco Beach Resort & Marina. Local boat rental company’s offer day trips, but we suggest booking this early, especially in peak season.

For an additional fee we can help you arrange a variety of concierge services for your stay -
Pre-stocking kitchen before your arrival, Grocery delivery, small catering menu delivered to the villa.
Day boat charters (island hoping, deep sea fishing, snorkeling, bonefishing etc) w/ some of the BEST.

This is our second stay at Mermaid Villa and it is the best!! Connie is so responsive even with some personal medical issues in her family, we pray all is well. The house is clean, comfortable, and is in an excellent location.

We had a wonderful stay at Mermaid Reef! The layout was great for our group - plenty of space - comfortable beds - great location too! We found lots of great restaurants and walked around a lot - this was a great place! We would definitely recommend a stay and we hope to return again too! Thank you!

Great location

Such a great spot. The house is newly remodeled, beds are very comfortable and the views are incredible. Very convenient to restaurants/etc — would highly recommend!

Villa 5 was actually completed May 2019 & sustained minimal damages in Hurricane Dorian Sept 2019. We have redid the kitchen island top since but we are pleased to know that the Villa is being kept nice enough for you to think so. Thank you again for choosing our listing for your stay. Annual friend’s vacation

What a great vacation! The house was lovely and our hosts were very accommodating. We had more than enough space for the eight of us for the week and truly enjoyed the pool, beach and a little bit of island hopping. Don’t miss snorkeling the Mermaid Reef…bring some frozen peas to feed the fish with.

This house was in a great location - views were postcard perfect. The adults and kids alike had an amazing time. Plenty of room to sleep and hang out. The pool and beach down the hill were beyond expectations! We will be back.

We had a five star stay. Connie/Farrah - the hosts - could not have been more responsive to my (too many!) questions. We were spending Christmas here so there were a few logistics that I had to work through. They were very helpful - even to the point of having a xmas tree in the villa when we arrived! The accomodations were impecable and it was very well stocked with everything you'd need in the kitchen. The towels, both bath and beach, felt like they were brand new. We loved snorkeling down by the beach at Mermaid Reef. I honestly have never swum among so many fish in my life! All in all it was a great stay.

Amazing!

Everything from pre stay questions, check in and 3 week stay was perfect. Connie was attentive and responsive. The home was clean, beautiful and stocked. If you get a chance to visit this beautiful island with its beautiful people, this is the place to stay. And you can snorkel seconds from the front door! Don’t pass it up!’

Awesome stay in The Abacos

We booked this house for a 4 day trip to Marsh Harbor, and found this to be an excellent choice. The house was a great fit for our group of 3 couples and a single in that everyone had a bedroom with a private bath. The house is beautiful and nicely appointed. Positioned overlooking Mermaid Reef makes this a great spot and the private pool was a bonus! The property is located within a 20 minute walk of at least 5 great restaurants and a nice grocery store. The hosts were very attentive and responded immediately to every inquiry we had in preparation for our arrival. I would highly recommend this beautiful spot and hope to go back again!

Mermaid Reef #5

Our group of 6 enjoyed this property. The villa offers privacy for each couple. The owners are across the street and very helpful. The pictures on the listing of the property are pre-Dorian. The villa is very nice and clean. We felt very safe and a nice restaurant is down the street. Be prepared to spend a lot of money on taxis. Mermaid Reef offers great snorkeling. The area is still cleaning up from Dorian almost 5 years ago. Connie and Farrah went out of their way to assist us with anything we needed. Thanks again!
