Hosts Larry and Eddie are pleased to host a unique apartment that was designed as a part of a large house built in 1930 in the historic district of our city. This recently renovated 1 bedroom has separate entrances from the main house and is within walking distance to Lenoir Rhyne University (0.2 miles to LRU Moretz Stadium) and downtown (1 mile). High speed wifi. Pet friendly.

Garden Hide Away

Perfect place to stay when visiting Hickory! Eddie the owner is so welcoming and you feel at home quickly. Apartment is very nicely decorated, furnished and clean. Even had a basket of snacks if needed. The yard is landscaped so beautiful. Just loved the trees and flowers. So much nicer than staying in a hotel. We will diffinately stay again when visiting family in Hickory. Thanks Eddie!

Mostly Great

The apartment is perfectly clean and fresh and is so well equipped with everything you could possibly need for any length stay. The entire place is very well appointed with wifi and convenient locations for charging phones, computers and such. The bath room is beautiful but the shower could use a small rack for wash clothes etc and a couple of safety handles and perhaps a small teak seat for old folks like me. This would be our first choice for any future stays in the area and we would highly recommend it to any travelers going to the Hickory area.

The Perfect Place in Hickory!

Larry was our host this weekend and greeted us when we arrived. He was always available for questions or anything we needed, but really they had already thought of everything. This apartment is in a beautifully restored older home and exactly as the photos and other reviews describe. We were in town for a wedding but now we’re looking for another reason to come back and stay here again! Note: this is a second floor apartment with a private entrance.

Visiting family

I came to town to visit a family member and needed a place to stay for a couple of days. I was very much pleased with this property. The space was spotless and the decor was elegant and comfortable. The location of the property was also a plus. If available I will definitely stay again for future trips.

Beautiful Apartment Amazing Location

This is a beautiful apartment attached to a gorgeous historical house. The location is amazing. The apartment has everything you will need and is so cozy. Eddie and Larry are fabulous host and had great suggestions that made our visit to Hickory exactly what we were looking for. This will be our go to place when in Hickory.

Immaculate work-cation retreat

Beautifully decorated, graciously hosted, thoughtfully appointed and lusciously comfortable downtown treetop hideaway. Atrium makes a lovely, well lit designated work space. Short, easy walk to LRU, Union Square. Thank you for the perfect home away from home!

Hickory apartment

Perfect stay for couple. Lovely hosts. Great location for us as our daughter is only ten blocks away. Has everything one needs even for cooking for family to visit.

Excellent apartment

Edward was amazing to work with and the apartment was beautiful. They have done an excellent job refinishing it with all modern conveniences and finishes yet leaving some of the historical charm with the gorgeous doors and handles. The king size bed was extremely comfortable with premium bedding and the bed itself was beautiful. The location was perfect for us as we were visiting our daughter at Lenoir-Rhyne for parents weekend. There are steps to get up to the apartment but they were well lit at night. We will most definitely look to stay again on future visits.

Best Rental EVER!

This was by far the best rental we’ve ever stayed at. It is clean, beautifully decorated and has every amenity you could possibly need for a vacation rental. I highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Beautiful Apartment and Great Hosts!

Eddie and Larry's place is one of the best VRBO rentals we've stayed in. It's a beautifully renovated apartment in a 1930's brick mansion in the middle of Hickory. It had every modern convenience and special amenity one can imagine (comfortable bed, modern, well equipped kitchen and bath, responsive and engaging host). We highly recommend and would return without hesitation. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Cutest apartment in a lovely neighborhood

There is no better feeling than walking into a VRBO and knowing that you aren't going to have any issues for the duration of your stay. The apartment was immaculate and beautifully decorated. Eddie was incredibly communicative and helpful and I am so grateful he shared his space with us.

Gem in Hickory

There are not enough good things to be said about Eddie or his VRBO. MY wife and I enjoyed our stay tremendously and the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. When we come back to Hickory we will stay here again for sure!

Hickory class

I thoroughly enjoy my time in this property. The hosts are very personable and helpful. The location is superb. The interior of the unit is modern and comfortable and the outside of the property and gardens are beautiful as well. Truly like a second home.
