• SHARED DRIVEWAY: Please be aware that the driveway is shared with a neighbor. Please park only in the designated area for our property (space for 3 cars, front to back).

There is a shared driveway with the neighbor but still plenty of space for 3 cars to park front to back. The neighbor is very friendly about it and we've never had an issue!

We really enjoyed our stay. The Dolly themed interior was fabulous and gave the home so much character and charm. The house was spotless when we arrived, and it was clear that great care is taken to keep it clean and welcoming. Communication was excellent throughout our stay. The hosts were responsive, friendly, and made everything easy from check-in to check-out.

Things to look at:

Property was good mostly. Bathroom could use TLC. Tiling done. Floors are nice but need some sanding. Was easy to get to and easy to enter. Would not mind staying again if needed when visiting family!

The property is generally clean and has lots of nice new towels and luxurious bedding. The layout is great and the bedrooms are large with large closets with hangers and a nice chest in each bedroom. That was important to me because I was staying for a week and preferred to put my clothes away and also get our luggage out of the way. Amenities included USB chargers in every bedroom and in the living room.

Lack of communication

We didn’t get the code to check in until 3 hours after check in time, the ROKU TV’s wouldn’t work, messaged the host the night we checked in and they didn’t respond till the next morning when we were checking out saying they fixed the TV’s remotely. Anyone staying in the future, do not use the 4 digit code on the front door because it doesn’t work, you have to go to the back door. Took us about 10 minutes to figure this out.

Firstly, the hosts were very responsive. That was not a problem. I rated the property low because the kitchen had issues and for me cooking is the primary reasons I stay at a VRBO - I eat healthy its difficult to eat out. The stove didn't work - apparently the prior guest stole the knobs and the replacement didn't work. I think they should've tested the new knob to make sure it worked but that apparently didn't happen.The host did send over a handyman but by the time it was fixed breakfast was long past. The kitchen really needs new pots and pans that fit the oven and are not warped.If cooking is important to you I would not stay here.

Hi Cheryl, we are so sorry about the issue with the cooktop. We did have one on order during your stay and it didn’t come in in time to be installed. I was under the impression that bringing the temporary cooktop over for you was working for you after we discussed. So I was a little surprised to read this review after thinking we had resolved the issue for you. We have installed a new one now and checked all of the other kitchen supplies so we would love to welcome you back another time!

Where to begin? The communication from the propery manager both before, during, and after the stay was prompt and helpful. The house is in a centrally located area on Kingsport only mins from everything. The bedrooms are large with VERY comfortable beds and a large tv in every room...something that I really appreciate as one who needs a tv on to fall asleep. I also appreciated a small fan to place on the bedside table to keep cool during the night. The house is air conditioned and was great, but I like having a fan! THe house appears to to have been renovated - the decorating and the colors used are fun, stylish, and contribute to such a relaxing and enjoyable space. There is a small patio area to have dinner on, but there's also a full size dining room. We didn't prepare any meals, but the kitchen appeared to be well stocked.The neighborhood is quiet with quiet neighbors. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again! Everything about this property was 5 star!!!
