Spacious 4BR/3BA with bunkhouse; perfect for family and friends!

Carter House is a 4BR/3BA with a large sitting porch that is perfect for sitting and having a glass of wine while all the guests arrive. The home is surrounded by a huge yard (nearly one acre) that has plenty of room to run and play. A brand new bunkhouse with 4 bunkbeds and its own full bathroom and sits steps from the main house where kids or kids at heart can have a little space of their own. This property has a very large living room with ample seating and a television, a dining area, and an eat-in counter in the kitchen. Bedrooms have amazing mattresses perfect for a great night's sleep after full days exploring Aggieland, walking to Kyle Field, or tailgating. Each bedroom (including the bunkhouse!) is equipped with its own television as well. We cannot wait to host you and your family or friends for a football weekend, graduation, new student conference, while you move your student in for the year, or even a last-minute trip to BCS just for fun.

Carter House has a circle driveway with quite a bit of room for parking. In addition, there is a large space to park an RV with sewer,and water hookups.

Golf weekend success

Wonderful place that has everything you need for a group stay. Super comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen, and the bunk house is perfect for kids. Owner was very flexible and very responsive. Great spot, thanks!

The house was great and lots of room. I have no complaints of the bedrooms and bathrooms. Unfortunately we couldn’t get the WiFi to work so that was a tad bit of a problem. And the grass was very tall and the mosquitoes were bad. I would definitely stay here again, but would just ask for the grass to be cut during the summer.

Wonderful location!

The house was wonderful and plenty of space for a family gathering . We used it on a holiday weekend to spend time with our kids attending A&M to save them the drive time. We had a great time! The owners are very responsive and the house amenities were great.

Great House for Game Day visit

Fantastic property for a large group. The bunk house out back was great and allowed all of us attending Aggies game day to stay in one location. Very modern, clean and well stocked house. Owner/host was very responsive and helped with local directions and recommendations. Highly recommend this property.

Graduation/Christmas gathering

This is a great meeting place for families who live in different directions from each other, especially for anything going on at TAMU. The hosts are easy to contact and communicate with . We really hope to stay here again!

Gameday Getaway

Unique home with throwback contemporary decor. Well Furnished. Great covered patio with grill, seating and tv. Quick drive down Villa Maria and Welborn to Campus.

Family of Aggies!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Your home was very nice, accommodating and in a convenient location. My husband and I brought our youngest daughter, my mother and my brother & his family. We are all Aggies. Out oldest two daughters are in the Aggie band. It was our freshman daughter’s 19th birthday and your home was a perfect location to celebrate. We looking forward to renting with you again.

Property is nice and clean. Very spacious and accommodated our party of 14 very well. There are a few things that need to be worked on. Only one small closet out of three was able to be used for the 14 of us, all others were full. Beds in smaller rooms were not well put together, nearly fell apart when we sat on them. We had to go and buy the tool to tighten the bed frames to be able to sleep on them. One side of stove top was cracked and difficult to use.

A&M Graduation Weekend

Great house in a great neighborhood. Unfortunately we had a big issue - upon arrival the cleaning crew told us to go turn on the a/c in the bunkhouse (this was 4:00 PM on a Thursday) and it was broken. The owners did what they could to fix it and we had to put our family in 2 additional hotel rooms for the weekend. Owners gave us half our stay in a refund and we appreciated that.The cleanliness was less than great - dirty dishes and we had to completely clean the back patio. Refrigerator and freezer full of someone else's food - not a great welcome.Also, closets and drawers were full of owners belongings. I had never seen that before.The house itself is great and in a great location. Hopefully the next renters will have a better experience!

Not what we were expecting!

The house is a very pretty home; however, it is not set up properly to be open to guests. The amenities were not as expected. Basic handsoap was watered down. The house was HOT and would not cool down under 75. Coffee pot did not work. Not enough pots and pans to cook meals. No dishwasher soap to wash dishes. Had to wear socks because floors were dirty which turned them black. Not enough towels in kitchen and in bathrooms for the amount of people staying. There are more, but this covers some of the issues.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

Carter House is a jewel situated in a residential area of Bryan, Texas. Texas A&M is less than 15 minutes away, but you won't feel like you're in a city when you're a guest at Carter House! There's plenty of yard space and lots of room to kick back with friends and family. Our goal is for you to feel as at home at our home as you are in yours.

One of the highlights of Carter House is its sitting porch. With cushioned outdoor furniture and a gas firepit, we can't wait for you to sit with a cold glass of iced tea, beer, or a glass of wine. We imagine people coming in from out of town on Friday nights and taking a moment to rest a while before it's time to leave for Midnight Yell.

Carter House's Bunkhouse is a wonderful retreat for kids or kids-at-heart. With 4 bunk beds and a full bath, our Bunkhouse guests will have their own retreat within a retreat. Add a couple of beanbags, a drink fridge, individual lights/charging stations for each bed - bottom and top bunks, and a television just for them, whoever stays in The Bunkhouse is going to love it!

Sleeping arrangements are flexible with several areas where you could easily set up an inflatable mattress.

Carter House is 5 minutes from charming downtown Bryan, an HEB, Walmart, and Target, and within 15 minutes of Big Shots Golf and Century Square dining and shopping center, and of course, there's Texas A&M University. Bryan also boasts of a local winery, Messina Hoff, that offers fine dining in a vineyard setting.
