Beautiful Comfortable House w/ Fireplace

Relax w/ the whole family at this comfortable 4-bedroom home away from home in the Shenandoah Valley! With plenty to do within short driving distance. Seven Bends State Park, Woodstock Tower, Shenandoah Fair Grounds, Muse Winery, and Woodstock Brew House are only a few minutes away. Tons of local restaurants and shopping places are within 5 miles. Shenandoah Caverns is only 20 min away. Shenandoah National Park, Luray Caverns & Skyline Drive 40 min away.

Welcome to your home away from home! The living room has a fireplace and 85" flat screen TV. Kitchen is filled with cooking essentials to be able to make a meal. To top it off, you can enjoy that meal on the dining table on the back porch where you can enjoy the nature. The kids can enjoy the open yard to run and play. When you are ready to head inside, you can chill on the oversize swivel chair in the family room or do a quick walk on the treadmill. When you go upstairs, you will find 4 bedrooms for your family to comfortably spread out. There are 3 bedrooms with queen beds with one shared bathroom. The master bedroom has a king bed and its private bathroom with a shower. Please note the jacuzzi is not available for use at the moment but we are working hard to get it up and running. We would also like to inform you, our property caretaker is living in the basement who has his private entrance and normally keeps to himself.

The house was spotless, spacious, and had some fun amenities like the electric fireplace and the fusball table. The living room chairs were super comfortable, as we're the beds. We really enjoyed our (too short!) Stay and we'll be sure to return for a longer visit.

The house is large with 4 good sized bedrooms. We were very comfortable there. The host was responsive in a timely manner when I contacted him/her during our stay. The location is a short drive to the historic downtown area of Woodstock and even closer to the grocery store.Our only issue was that we are older and not as stable on our feet as we would like. We discovered that there is no railing up the couple of steps to the front door. Thankfully one of us was able to help the others by lending an arm. The inside stairs were no problem at all as they have a nice stair railing.Thank you for sharing your home with us and Happy Thanksgiving.

Nice house with plenty of room. The Foosball table is a great addition. House would have been perfect if it had a washer & dryer. Owner very responsive and took care of everything. A+ on service.

Perfect location to everything

This is a very lovely home within a nice neighborhood in close proximity to shopping, restaurants and recreation in Woodstock. It is nicely decorated, but could use more seating. The family room only had enough seating for five adults although the bedrooms could accommodate eight. The only seating for having meals is in the dining room with table seating for six. The room adjoining the dining room only had one oversized chair and a treadmill. The foyer floor was not clean when we arrived, and the only thing in the house to clean it was a swiffer jet mop which did nothing more than move the dirt around. We like to walk around without shoes, so that was unpleasant. There is a jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom that was out of order. There are only two bathrooms in this home, so having one tub out of order while traveling with a baby was very inconvenient, primarily, because the only other tub was being shared with multiple people and there were no cleaning supplies left in the house to clean the tub between use. There were a few other minor maintenance issues, also, such as a very loose toilet seat and a dirty pantry. There just needs to be better attention payed to cleanliness. The glass front storm door and back glass sliding door needed to be cleaned and the grass needed to be cut. Although we didn't use it because of the weather, there is a very nice deck with a large table and grill. VRBO commercials promote having the whole home to yourself. Although we did have the main part of the house to ourselves, there was someone living in the basement, so be aware if that is important to you. All in all, these issues mentioned were manageable for a short stay, but would have been a nuisance if we had been there for a week. I would stay again if these issues are corrected.
