We had a great stay. The location is perfect. Ocean view, quick walk to town. No problem with parking. We loved hearing the waves. We never used the pool, but meant to. It looked great!Modern updates (new washer/dryer, smart TVs, dishwasher, etc). Spacious. Respectably stocked pantry, very well stocked kitchen utensils. They even have an instapot! I didn't love the bed, but I'm picky. Also the water pressure is pretty terrible, but if a low pressurer shower stops you from staying here, that's just silly!! We would love to come back soon!

We really enjoyed our stay on The Big Island. The condo provided a great base for us to explore the area. We loved that there were two aircons in the condo
and a lovely sea view! Perfect. We didn’t use the pool or any facilities, so we can’t comment on that! We greatly appreciated the beach chairs and beach towels, and having a washer-dryer in the unit was very handy. I just noted that there is some road noise, but it didn’t impact our sleep too much.

Beautiful View

This is our 4th time staying at Kona Reef & the first time in F-22. All the comforts of home. Nice two air conditioners. Beach accessories & plenty of towels. This is a great location and a beautiful view overlooking the pool.

Great Waterfront Condo

Perfect location, clean with everything you need. Pool facing the ocean was a true pleasure. Walkable to many really nice restaurants. Will be back.

Great location & view

The property as you drive up is very unassuming but the unit is updated, clean & has a great ocean front view. The management was very accommodating too. Highly recommended!

Thanksgiving getaway

For the last 6 years we’ve been coming to Hawaii for Thanksgiving. This year we stayed on the big island in this updated condo. Amazing sunset views, great pool that sits just right next to ocean. The unit has everything we needed. Particularly fond of the deck, shower and kitchen. Plus a brand new washer and dryer. The owners have clearly thought about what travelers might need. There was even a yoga mat and several of coolers for the beach. Would definitely come back.

Amazing Sunset Views

F22 had more to offer than what was listed. It had coolers, beach loungers, beach umbrella, snorkel gear. Yoga in the morning at the beach right next to property. I cant say enough good things about this property and our stay in F22. We did not use the property as much as we traveled to Mauna Kea, Volcano National Park, a couple of waterfalls and Black sand beach and it was Ironman World Chanmpionships week. I will tell you there is 2 parking garages and be sure to take the 1st entrance and take the elevators to F22. After traveling all day we took the 2nd entrance to the property and it took me awhile to find my car, LOL

Kona Reef Resort F22

Beautifully remodeled. Very clean and plenty of amenities for preparing a meal, convenience of washer/dryer. The only thing is the water pressure is weak so the shower could be better in that respect. Al in all, we enjoyed our stay and felt safe here. Will hopefully return!

Amazing location

This unit was everything and more! Clean, beautifully decorated, the AC was ice cold and the bed was so comfy after a long day of shopping and dining just down the street. We will be staying again! Don't hesitate, if this place is available book it!

Our apartment was beautiful and the view was even better than the pictures indicated. Unit was well stocked, including a first-aid kit that came in handy. Convenient to shops and restaurants and a nice peaceful beach beside the complex. I highly recommend this place.

Great property manager + location

When we arrived we had an issue and it was promptly and professionally handled by property management company. We arrived late and were able to contact via cell phone and they sorted it out promptly. Was very pleased how it was handled. Unit is very clean, great amenities (all the spices, compliances, new washer dryer), extremely comfy bed! Complex is a condo association with a lot of rules, if respectful of others there should be no issues!!! Pool and hot tub was excellent and had nice grills of you want to grill out one night. The location and view was fantastic, close walk to all things Kona.

This was a fantastic condo. Gorgeous views, thoughtfully stocked and decorated...it had everything we needed (and more!). I will definitely stay here again if I ever return to the island. This was the best VRBO experience I have ever had (and the pictures don't actually do it justice!)

Beautiful Oceanside Property

Well equipped, clean and modernized condo. We had everything we needed. The view from the deck was amazing and made our stay so enjoyable. The pool and grassy area by the Ocean were well maintained and never too busy. Exploring the lava rock tide pools out front and watching the sunsets were highlights for us. Short walk to restaurants and shopping. It would have been helpful to know the lockbox for checking in was on the door of the condo itself and not by the Office somewhere but we figured it out. Parking was always available. Overall we were very happy with the condo.
