What a gem! This house has it all - very well stocked, VERY comfortable beds, excellent/responsive hosts, lots of great towels and kitchen amenities. The coffee bar is amazing!...and I don't even drink coffee. Nice kayaks and SUPS and outdoor furniture. Very welcoming and comfortable place to stay. We will definitely stay again if we return to the area, and I hope so soon!

Amazing property on the lake

From the time of booking to the moment we checked out the owners were very helpful and attentive. The house was very up to date and clean. The convenience of staying on the lake was great and the amenities had everything we needed. I would highly recommend to anybody staying on or near Greenwood Lake.

We LOVE the Lazy Turtle-We will be back!

We were so impressed with The Lazy Turtle and will definitely be back! The owners were very attentive and put a lot of thought into our comfort; there were some extra toothbrushes, sample sized toothpaste, bug repellent and bath supplies. As soon as we entered the home they had snacks awaiting us on the table--we were grateful as we had been driving all day. The house was immaculately clean. There was plenty of room for our family get-together. We loved the privacy of the back yard and the size of the yard for family fun/games. We were extremely comfortable and would highly recommend this location to anyone.

Exceptional Stay

Such a lovely family weekend getaway! Upon our arrival, check-in was a breeze, we were greeted with a welcome sign, snacks on the kitchen table, and bottled water in the refrigerator. The property was just as pictured and described. The lake house was very clean and fully stocked with all the tools, utensils, and items needed-as if it were our own home away from home. (The only thing we needed were groceries, which were conveniently delivered!) Throughout the house there were little notes to help us easily navigate being in a new place, which was very helpful. The owners quickly responded to any questions we had in a helpful, friendly, and welcoming manner from our very first reach out. The neighborhood was quiet with just the right amount of space, and relaxing. We are very happy with our stay and will definitely book again! If you are looking for a lovely lake house, owned by super hosts—>DO NOT MISS THIS GEM.

Lake House Living at its FINEST!

I am so pleased to leave this favorable review of the Lazy Turtle on Lake Greenwood. This lake house was so comfortable, quiet and the tranquility I experienced was amazing! I'm only sorry I could not stay longer. The house was pristine, well stocked and just so cozy, my family and I couldn't ask for more! The owners thought of everything when they set up this lake house rental. They go above and beyond to ensure your comfort and are very accommodating in eliminating anything to disturb your peaceful experience of this cozy cottage. I would 100% recommend this lake house and plan to make my way back there as soon as I possibly can! If you are contemplating renting at Lake Greenwood, this is the one! BOOK NOW! You won't regret it!

Best Lakehouse Ever!

We've been vacationing on Lake Greenwood for years, and now I can finally stop looking for a better house! It was exactly as pictured on the listing, no disappointments. It was very clean and even stocked with everything we needed, right down to towels for the lake. Communication with the owners was great. Very helpful, not intrusive, and check in / check out was a breeze. It was just my boyfriend and myself most of the time. But my daughter and her children (1 and 6) joined us for a couple days and my mother came for a few days as well. We had plenty of room to spread out and give everyone their own space. And the location couldn't be more perfect, very quiet, calm cove. I'm generally not a morning person, but I rose early every morning just to sit on the porch and enjoy the view and the quiet before starting my day. I can't say enough good things about this place. We will be back, again and again and again...

Great Lake House!

This is a wonderful house on Lake Greenwood in SC! My Husband, daughter's, and I stayed for 4 nights while visiting family in the area. We were VERY impressed with the following: - Great location - located on a quiet cove of Lake Greenwood with a dock for boating/swimming. - Easily accessible - a short jog from route 72, minutes from downtown Greenwood. (Other rental homes on the lake are much harder to reach.) - Beautifully designed/decorated - looks brand new inside and out with gorgeous exposed hardwood ceiling/railings and an inviting/calming color palette. The well-funished deck overlooking the lake is a huge bonus. - Well stocked - it has everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, bathrooms, laudryroom. It even incuded life vests and towels for the lake, games for the family, and a nice selection of toiletries. (Plus, the fully-stocked coffee bar was a dream come true for me!) - Attentive renters - the couple who owns it gave clear and concise instructions for check-in/check-out, and were available to answer questions if needed. The bottled water and snacks waiting for us were much appreciated. Overall, we had a 5 star experience and look forward to booking again the next time we are in town. Coming from a very picky traveler, I would DEFINITELY recommend this property!

We spared no expense to make our lake house comfortable. High end mattresses, furniture, linens, reclining living room couch and loveseat, large smart TV's. You will be able to relax and unwind in comfort. We tried to think of everything you might need to enjoy your stay at the lake with a fully stocked kitchen, high end appliances, tasteful decorating, and games for rainy days.
