Bayview Retreat | Bay Views, Pool + Hot Tub Access

Welcome to Unit #315 - Bayview Retreat! This one bedroom, one bath condo has gorgeous views of Aransas Bay from the private balcony on the third floor of the Laguna Reef Resort. Enjoy cool bay breezes and bird watching from the complex grounds along with great fishing from the 1000-foot lighted fishing pier. Cool down in the Laguna Reef swimming pool or relax in the hot tub overlooking Aransas Bay. You can even grill up your best catch in one of the grilling areas!

The living room has a queen sleeper sofa, flat screen TV, and large picture windows facing the bay. There is a table that seats 2 people and seating for 2 more at the breakfast bar. The kitchen has all stainless-steel appliances and granite countertops fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, ice maker, and coffee maker. The primary bedroom has a king-sized bed and nice decor. All linens and towels will be provided and guests will have access to a laundry room that takes quarters. This condo also has Wi-Fi.

Bayview Retreat is located near the Rockport Heritage District and Rockport Beach. Spend a day in the sun at the Rockport Beach where you can rent jet skis, swim with the kids, or grill up some food at one of the picnic areas. The Rockport Beach also allows fishing and gives you the option to purchase a day pass or an annual pass. There are two piers at the Rockport Beach, the south pier is free and the north pier has a beach admission fee. There is also a boat ramp. We have a list of fishing guides on our site as well.

Downtown Rockport is filled with shops and restaurants if you feel like a night out and some fresh seafood on the water. Check out a list of restaurants in Rockport on our site under activities and attractions. If you feel like shopping than you can grab a cup of coffee at the Daily Grind and walk along Austin Street and visit the shell shops and cute clothing boutiques.

This is also a prime location for birding! Little Bay has many protected areas for birds that you can enjoy while walking along the water. Rockport is home to many historical sights and parks as well, including the Fulton Mansion, Goose Island State Park, and The Texas Maritime Museum. Good stay

Property is older outside but as pictured and clean inside. Perfect size for two. Had lots of places to charge devices, which is appreciated. The walls are super thin though and could hear neighbors on both sides. Overall, it was a good property and would stay again.

Great small family getaway

Condo was great size for family of 3-4. Loved having a full kitchen to cook breakfast and make sandwiches. Close proximity to the beach (2-3 minute drive) and we enjoyed the private fishing pier for some night fishing. We would definitely come back to this property

Almost excellent

Love Laguna Reef. Stayed there for the month of Jan for many years. The only thing that kept this stay from being excellent was the television was not user friendly . We also had an issue with sheets not being left for sofa bed. Not a problem, anyone can forget something, but the response was not acceptable. Also drain in lav barely drained. Obviously had been that way and just not corrected. Other than that, still loved our stay and Laguna Reef is a special place. Will definitely come back to Laguna Reef but probably not that unit.

So friendly, a maintenance guy took my garbage bag from me as I was walking to the dumpster so I didn't have to. The check-in lady on Friday night was the nicest ever.

My girlfriend and I went for a getaway. This place was amazing. Staff was super friendly and gave great recommendations on places to see and eat. The host was very easy to get along with and responded back very fast. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area

The room was perfect for what we needed. We stay at Laguna Reef every year for Babes on the Bay and love it so much, so when my husband and I just wanted a quick weekend getaway, I knew we had to stay here. Miss Kitty's staff are always so polite and easy to work with.
