This place was very cute and well stocked with everything you could need and then some. Great location. Close enough to walk to the stores and restaurants but far enough away from the Oktoberfest sounds. Nicely tucked away in the trees. Feels like you are out in the country. Definitely recommend this place.

We had an amazing anniversary stay! The property was beautifully maintained, incredibly comfortable, and close to town, with gorgeous scenery that made the perfect backdrop for our getaway. The sweet, thoughtful touches made our anniversary feel extra special. You could tell a lot of care went into making this a wonderful place to stay. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed the weekend at this property. It is absolutely beautiful and has all of the comforts of a 5 star hotel. It is extremely clean, quiet and great place to relax. The location is perfect as it is secluded but yet minutes from the center of town. We will definitely be returning for our next vacation at the perfect location.

Our anniversary was wonderful at Ivy Cottage. It’s like personal oasis of amenities, but without losing any of the quaint, historic cottage feel. The location is great for a relaxing getaway with your partner, with a private, country feel, but yet conveniently located so that all town services are available to you. To top it all off, the host is absolutely wonderful and amazingly prepared, thinking of every little detail to make our visit seamless. If you are looking for a magical and stress-free getaway, this is the place to book!

The cottage was clean and thoughtful. At first arrival, the creek and large trees were serene. The interior of the cottage was lovely and relaxing. Everything I needed, as an afterthought, was stocked for my stay. The bed was very comfortable.

The cottage is private and surrounded by nature, yet close enough to walk to downtown attractions. It was very comfortable with many amenities. We enjoyed our stay very much- wish we could have stayed longer!

Ivy Cottage is a peaceful, comfortable retreat in a tranquil wooded area within walking/biking distance of downtown Hermann. We walked into town to enjoy many of the local restaurants that were recommended by our host. The cabin is spotlessly clean with lots of character. The host is very attentive and goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome. We used the Ivy Cottage as a homebase after bicycling on the katy trail. It was a pleasure to come back to such an inviting, nurturing place.

If you are looking for a unique stay in Hermann, the Ivy Cottage is it! Great location in town, has everything you need for a comfy stay. The host went above and beyond for us. Highly recommended.

20th Anniversary

My wife and I stayed at this cottage to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We absolutely loved the cottage. It is perfectly decorated with amenities you don’t get at a typical Inn. It has everything you need, close walk to everything, and the host is incredibly welcoming! We will definitely be back!

Comfortable Cottage

The cottage is very homey and comfortable. Anything you could need is ready and available. The property owners were accommodating and easy to communicate with. Great location. Off the beaten path yet still quite a bit within walking distance. We would love to stay again on our next trip to Herman.

Our weekend away at Ivy Cottage

We absolutely loved our weekend away at Ivy Cottage. It was quiet, private, well appointed and the owners were fantastic. It was only a couple of blocks from the main streets in hermann so we were able to wAlk to all the action but also enjoy the peace and quiet of the home. They had a list of great food and drink options which were also on point!!! Thank you for an amazing stay amd we loom forward to visiting again in the future!

Anniversary Weekend Getaway

The cottage is so cute and very well stocked. Alexandria went above and beyond to personalize our stay, and we were very impressed with all the extras available in the house for guests to use. The location feels remote but is right on the edge of town. We enjoyed live music from Oktoberfest right from the deck. Highly recommended this cottage and will definitely stay here if we visit Hermann again!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Cottage! The location is perfect: close to downtown Hermann, yet tucked away enough to offer the privacy and peacefulness we enjoy. The owner has truly thought of everything you might need, from well-stocked bathroom amenities to a fully equipped kitchen.Our favorite moments were spent relaxing on the deck each morning and unwinding by the fire pit in the evenings.The owner went above and beyond to make our anniversary extra special, surprising us with a thoughtful basket of wine and treats. Her kindness and generosity meant so much to us. Communication was easy and friendly, and she was even flexible with our arrival time, which we really appreciated.We loved our time in Hermann and will definitely stay at the Cottage again on our next visit!

Getaway

My wife and I have visited Hermann once before and stayed at a BNB. This location though is amazing! The creek out back as well as the wooded lot is beautiful. The decor is way m and inviting and the owners went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable! Between the Chobani creamers and the unbelievable robes we couldn’t have been happier! Definitely worth a return trip!!!

Wonderful place

My wife and I rented the cottage for a fall weekend and we had a wonderful time. The cottage is great and secluded while being close to Hermann's amenities. Hermann is a neat town with lots of history and a variety of things to do. The property manager was excellent to deal with and very thoughtful during our stay. We plan to come back in the future. Highly recommended.
