Beaver Pond - Recently renovated early farmhouse located on a gentle knoll with long distance views of rolling hills and of an active beaver pond complete with a beaver lodge. Guests at Beaver Pond enjoy a variety of outdoor activities. There is private, stocked pond for fishing and swimming. Your hosts also provide a kayak for family fun. There are groomed hiking trails around the property. Your host also provides bicycles - the quiet country road is a perfect place to ride.

This vintage farmhouse house has an updated kitchen, complete with granite counter tops. There is a large dining area as well as an outdoor patio complete with outdoor gas grill and furniture for relaxing and dining. Check out the updated bath w/ multiple shower head options. Newly renovated gameroom with large TV just off the patio.

Beaver Pond sits on a 200 acre parcel of land - which turns into a winter wonderland when the snow falls. Bring your snowmobile and ride the well groomed winter trails.

Beaver Pond is a family-friendly choice - any time of the year!

Beautiful property - house is immaculate and very spacious. Kids loved fishing, kayaking, and the horses on the farm. The baseball field was the cherry on top. Owners had excellent communication and generously sent back my son's tablet he left in the bedroom without hassle. A trip we will never forget and hope to return. Will definitely be passing this recommendation to other baseball families as it is within 10 minutes to CDP. Pro tip - stay south of the fields so turning right into the park is easier than waiting for the left at the light if you were to stay north of CDP.

Wonderful property!

Our family stayed at Beaver Pond during our Cooperstown baseball tournament. The house had everything we needed plus some. The property is beautiful . My kids loved fishing in the pond and playing on the Wiffle ball field. We had a wonderful stay.

Perfect Escape After Baseball

Beautiful property with what might be the best equipped VrBO we’ve ever stayed at! Perfect home away from home for our week stay for Cooperstown Baseball. The beds were comfortable. The shower was hot! There were plenty of extra blankets and kitchen utensils. We used both the AC and the heat and both worked great. Thank you to the hosts for letting us checkin early.

Amazing!

This is one of the best places we have stayed. Uncle Mike is amazing. The property is so well kept and inviting. We enjoyed the pond and were comfortable the entire week. Just a quick 10-15 minute drive to dreams park. Highly recommend!

A little slice of heaven

I cannot even begin to describe how beautiful this property is. It’s secluded but close enough to everything you need access to. There are plenty of bedrooms and so much space. The pond is beautiful and yes we caught fish, kayaked, and we even had a deer come out to the pond one night. I cannot recommend this property enough!

Beaver Pond review

We had a great stay at Beaver Pond Farmhouse. Like many reviews before, so we knew the situation and still booked here, wish there was more than 1 bathroom! That bathroom however was very nicely renovated. The drive into Cooperstown was not long at all, maybe 10 minutes plus/minus. Plenty of beds in the house, couldn’t find the beaver pond though! Lol. Kitchen well stocked with stuff to cook and bake with, just bring your food! We were only there for 2 nights but still managed to find time to bake some pillsbury cookies for a nighttime snack. If you are looking for an older place with charm, this is a nice one.

Excellent stay just outside of Cooperstown

My friends and I had an awesome time at this beautiful house. The grounds were our favorite part/ two ponds, rolling hills, and even a baseball field!

The scenic views were breathtaking!

We just loved the old farmhouse charm of this property! The kids loved swimming in the pond, and the entire family loved fishing. The sunsets were beautiful too! We would definitely come back!

Convenient location to the dreams park with all of the amenities you would need to make it feel like you’re home away from home

When we arrived, we were immediately in love with the property and the pond and the house itself. What a beautiful, private, peaceful rental. When we had time, some of the younger siblings were able to come back to our house and Fish and enjoy, using the kayaks and the canoe. We had a fun family game of football on the baseball field. The caretaker is always there if you need anything, but the house was well stocked with everything you would need to make your stay comfortable. I was able to keep up with my laundry while I was there, which was great, and we enjoyed playing ping-pong in the game room. It’s definitely the type of place you’d like to stay a little longer. We were only 10 minutes from the dreams park, making it easy for dropping off our son when he needed to be there and going back to the house during our down time. We are looking forward to going back in three years with my youngest son, and we would definitely book this rental again.
