Gray Ridge - 6BR/4BA Modern Style Log Cabin - Walk to Old Man's Cave!

Gray Ridge was built in 2022 is located on 25 wooded acres. It is a short walk to Old Man's Cave. It sleeps up to 16 guests in 6BR and 4BA. One of the bedrooms has a master bathroom. The back side of the cabin is full of windows from top to bottom and you will have a perfect view of the woods. Relax in the hot tub after walking to Old Man's Cave or prepare and eat meals together and play games in our dining area that seats everyone. There is something for everyone in this luxury modern style log cabin. Take a look at our other cabins. The listing #s are 2702910, 1932287, 1883965, 1938288 and 2963411. (Property certificate #00358) The base rate includes 8 guests and each additional person is $25/night.

this place is unreal and the owners are very responsive! we had our family Christmas here the weekend before Christmas and everything was perfect, the owners even had a tree up and lit for us! we plan to stay here or maybe try one of their other cabins again next year...trust me, go for it!!!!!!

Floorplan is great for a large group. However, hot tub water didn't get hot until day 2. The owner was very responsive every time I messaged her - which was awesome. And I appreciate that the hot tub is drained and cleaned between all guests - but it was a bummer that the hot tub was cold on day 1. With a short stay, we expect to use the hot tub each night. Also the kitchen table is long - which is great - but the chairs are very uncomfortable. Also the couches need throw pillows. Final comment is that the roof makes creaking and popping sounds CONSTANTLY. Like literally all night long.

Property is even better than it looks - immaculate and spacious lodge that easily accommodated five adults. Homey and cozy, we found it great for just hanging around or as a launch point for hiking adventures. Host is very responsive, helpful, and clear with directions. Heartily recommend this property for your Hocking Hills getaways.

The Gray Ridge Cabin #2 was centrally located to many hikes and a nice lake. The home was spacious, well equipped, beautiful, and comfortable. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and well appointed. The home was designed with many seating areas on the decks and rooms in the home that made it easy for my family to have their own space on their downtime. The pool table and large kitchen table was an added bonus for activity and game times with everyone.The outdoor areas and especially the firepit with chairs and a cornhole game allowed us to fun evenings outdoors. All in all the home was great!

The place is beautiful and as described. Very family-friendly. Lots of spaces. We enjoyed the ability to sit around the fire pit. We had meals at that huge table several generations and really enjoyed it. Overall, it was a very positive experience. We would rent it again. The best part of it is that it’s within five minutes of most of the activities we wanted. That was really a big plus with multiple kids. Owner was very responsive and helpful on a few occasions when needed. Overall, an excellent experience.

Girls Trip

The cabin was stunning and peaceful. Plenty of room and everyone was able to have their own space/ bed. So thankful for the emailed directions to get to cabin when cell service cut out, made it easy to find. Having fire wood to purchase on site was a pleasant surprise and extremely convenient. Would stay again.

Parents Getaway

The property was very clean and a perfect parents getaway. We had a great time at the house. Plenty of seating for everyone. The bedrooms were perfect size. And the covered patio was great especially when it rained. We had a great time and even made it over to Old Man’s Cave which was less than 5 minutes away.

Exceeds expectations

A previous review described the cabin and experience like Gatlinburg and I have to agree. The property manager texted to make sure all check in instructions were received prior to getting there and assuring no questions. We had 8 adults and 5 kids staying for a family reunion and had plenty of comfortable room. The location could not have been better for ease of access to popular activities/ trails although do not agree Old Man’s cave was within walking distance (especially with kids). The parking space was very nice for multiple vehicles. As long as everyone didn’t shower/ wash clothes at the same time the water heat and pressure were adequate for such a large group on well water. While we came prepared it was such a pleasant surprise to have TP, paper towels, dish soap already there. The beds were very comfortable and everyone overall slept well. We were very happy with our stay and would recommend to others as well.

Our weekend stay at Gray Ridge was excellent. The cabin was clean, tidy, and spacious for large groups. The surrounding area is peaceful, quiet, and a short drive to nearby hiking trails. Perfect Hocking Hills location for a large group

We plan an annual outing to Hocking Hills with friends. I am always looking for a good bedroom to bathroom ratio. This house has 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. 3 bedrooms upstairs (one is the Master) and two other bedrooms that share one bathroom. The 3 bedrooms downstairs share 2 bathrooms. This is a great property with plenty of seating whether you are inside, around the fire or on the deck (there are two very nice outdoor tables on the deck to eat at). My husband and I slept on the lower level and were quite comfortable. The only sleeping complaint was from one of the upstairs bedrooms with windows without coverings- early morning light and it got hot in the room. We all loved this house and will most definitely be back!

Wonderful Place

Location Amenities Amazing memories!

This was truly an awesome place to stay. Location was amazingly close to the visitor center and desired hiking areas, house is wonderful in every way, beds were extremely comfortable, and so much space. Great outdoor patio space as well to hang out and spend time. 11/10 experience will definitely return. Host was also very responsive and helpful when questions arose!Two things to note: 1. Grill is charcoal and a bit rusty. I think a new stainless gas grill would be nice. 2. No soap in bathrooms bring your own!
