Enjoy all that Amelia Island has to offer and escape to this comfortable two-bedroom, one-and-a-half-bathroom townhome, tucked away in the beautifully manicured Forest Ridge Village. Sea Glass Cove is centrally located on the island, only a 4-minute walk to the beach, and a quick drive to Historic Downtown Fernandina.
Upon entering the unit guests are greeted by a comfortable and coastal space. The main living area offers a sofa (with Queen pull-out), a love seat and Smart TV with live online streaming option through HULU.
The kitchen is stocked with all the daily essentials including a regular coffee pot, Ninja blender, toaster, pots/pans, pressure cooker, and refrigerator with ice maker. There is dining for six in addition to two bar stools. The sliding glass doors open to a large patio framed by trees creating a private space to drink your morning coffee.
Upstairs is the Master bedroom with a King bed, TV, double closets and an updated bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom has two twin beds with the option to convert to a King bed, TV with live online streaming and a closet.
A full-size washer and dryer is located within the unit as well.
Amenities of Forest Ridge include a designated parking spot, a pool, tennis courts, a grilling area, and a playground. The grounds are surrounded by mature trees and beautiful tropical flowers.
Fresh linens, towels, and a starter kit of disposables are provided (travel-size shampoo/conditioner and body wash along with a limited number of laundry pods, dish pods, coffee, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, and one sponge.)
A pet fee of $200 is required when bringing a pet.

Nice area, close to the Beach!
I enjoyed my stay! Host (Chasta) was great with messaging me prior to renting.
I missed my 1st day of checking in and had to leave early due to looking at homes to buy in that area. My fault of course. Wish I could have stayed longer.
The pool was very nice, and townhouse was very close to the beach.
Host provided chairs, beach towels, plus the travel size lotion, shampoo, conditioner was much appreciated when you leave home and forget something.
The stairs could be a challenge for some, but overall, I would recommend this VRBO. Need to add to listing, this has a Keurig which was a Plus!
p.s. cleaning of upstairs shower and toilet wasn't good, but not the hosts fault as we all know help is hard to find.

Nice stay but issues outside
We really liked the inside of the property. It exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was wonderful with cooking equipment. What we did have a problem with is the shower floor.
It feels like you are walking on rocks.
Outside was a issue with bees swarming the entrance and the lock box not working. We called property management and they answered the phone immediately. But did not act. The bees disappeared only on. A cloudy, windy day. We used an umbrella to guard ourselves coming and going. We were told they were aware of these carpenter bees. Also the lock box was stuck on number 6. If you did not pull the 6 out with a nail you are locked out.

Thank you for staying with us! We sent a team member out immediately to address the bees, and the door button sticking. We also notified the HOA of the bees, as there was no hives to remove them.

Overall good, but…….
I don’t usually leave feedback unless something is significantly awesome or could be the difference in making the vacation great or not so great. Our stay was good and we enjoyed it overall, but, there are somethings that should be pointed out for accuracy of communication in the VRBO listing. Maybe it was on me but I believe it’s misleading at best.
1 - The map of a location is one of the first things I look at because it helps with narrowing down the picks. For example, when I want beachfront, that’s specifically what I want. This listing map location on VRBO shows the location east of Fletcher, which is beach front……it is not so don’t be fooled!!!! Once we realized it was not, we pulled it back up in the app to see if we missed something. The map is incorrect!!!!
2 - In the description it states “4 minute walk to beach.” Then in another place it says “5 minute walk to beach”. What it doesn’t say is you better be a speed walker to make that time, all while carrying chairs, beach bags, cooler, beach toys for the kids, etc. We just drove to Slider’s and parked on beach days and stayed by the pool mostly because it was just easier.
3 - You get 2 parking passes but there’s only 1 designated spot per unit. The second is for random “visitor” parking spots on the property. So, you could possibly have to park at the front of the property and walk quite a distance to the condo.
Please understand, I’m not bashing the condo, it was nice enough, clean, etc
