Big Nate Chalet sur le lac avec l'eau Trampoline

Big Nate est une cabine de 4 chambres avec 2 cuisines complètes et 2 salles de séjour et 2400 pieds carrés d'espace. Il est l'ours qui vous accueillera à la porte. Il ya aussi 5 salles de bains à Big Nate pour votre confort et l'intimité. Le terrain est une pente douce pour la marche et un endroit idéal pour les enfants à jouer. Nous avons une balançoire à bascule et le swing de cheval pour les enfants les plus jeunes et les fers à cheval pour les enfants plus âgés. Big Nate a son propre quai séparé et d'une rampe de mettre votre bateau à l'eau. Nous avons un trampoline de 15 pieds avec un toboggan et lancement. Vous pouvez pêcher au large des quais ou tout simplement jeter autour et nager. Il ya une cheminée avec hangar et un foyer à asseoir autour de la nuit. Il ya beaucoup d'espace pour avoir vos sorties en famille.

This was a beautiful place to stay! It was clean and big enough for everyone. We didn't get to enjoy the water because of the cold weather. We will be back for another stay.

We had a great time at Big Nates. The lake was wonderful and the kids loved the water trampoline. Cabin was comfortable and all 11 of us fit with no problem. Great hikes are close by.

Great spot on the lake. Big house with plenty of room. Lake trampoline was a shared amenity which was fine but didn’t catch that in the listing. House could have been cleaner (showers not cleaned, many cobwebs) but overall a nice stay.

Second stay at Big Nate

Our family had another great time at Big Nate! The dock is great for our boat, with the ramp right in back of the cabin. The layout of this large cabin is perfect for the different generations of our family. The large covered back deck overlooks the lake and is so peaceful. Great vacation!

Christmas get away

Family getaway

We have stayed here before and had a great time again. Since the olympics just started we did our own games and had medals and an awards ceremony. Just a lot of fun! Thanks for letting us stay here again.

Great Stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Big Nate's! Our family (ranging 80 to 8 years old) enjoyed the house and the property. We were even rained in one day, and there was plenty of room! We collectively decided we would like to return...but especially in the warmer months so we could take advantage of the water more!

Fantastic !!!

We loved big Big Nate’s ! It had a lot of space , a beautiful dock , a ramp for your boat or jetskis and a nice flat driveway . We will definitely stay at this property again . We enjoyed nightly fires in the huge outdoor fireplace area too .

House was big and roomy, loved the outdoor area. Only draw back was no TV, no internet, and no DVD player to watch movies late at night, other than that, loved it and would rent again.

Family time

The property is everything we asked for and more. We had all 3 cabins rented for a family lunch. The pavilion at Big Nate plus the area in all 3 backyards was perfect. We didn’t let Hurricane Helene slow us down even though a lot of family stuck in S.C. and could not attend. Thank you Shirley!

Beautiful cabin

The cabin is beautiful, great spaces, nice lake view located in great area. Need some repairs, the main bathroom toilet is not working properly (no water), main kitchen faucet handle sprinkle water when you open it , basement 2nd bathroom toilet is lose (it moves when you seat on it)

June experience

Had a wonderful time with large family ranging from teen through senior citizens (including wheelchair). The house was spacious and provided plenty of beds, bedrooms and bathrooms to give individuals space. We spent time in the lake using the trampoline, slide and swimming off the dock. We rented kayaks and enjoyed the lake. Response was quick when using the call feature in the app. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Hide and seek for the kids was great fun!

It was the coldest days of the year and the lake was frozen, but the kids loved breaking up the ice! It was perfect for our families that gathered at Christmas. When the water pipe busted because of the cold, the managers came right away and fixed it up so we could continue to stay. It would be perfect for summertime when you could enjoy the lake and swimming!

Overall property it’s amazing! I wish there was better communication with property manager I asked how to turn on the the fireplace for Christmas and I never got a reply other than that overall it was great experience, I liked that there is a dollar general store across the street walking distance.Thank you.

Chatuge Vacation

Wonderful location! Our crew of nine plus 2 grand dogs had a great stay right on the lake. We rented a boat and docked it in our own dock. Swimming off the dock and trampoline was wonderful! If we ran out of anything we just walked over to Dollar General. Internet worked well for those who had to keep up with work. Downstairs bathroom toilet was a bit shakey but could be easily fixed. Over all, a 10 vacation!

Vacation at Big Nate

We loved the property! It is open and a friendly place to hang out. The porches were perfect expecially in the morning. It fit everyone comfortably. I loved that the lake house had two kitchens. Was very convient since we had so many people staying there. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The area with the fireplace and grill was a great place to hang out. The kids and adults enjoyed all the water toys. The only thing negative thing that I could say is that I wish it wasn't on such a busy road, as several of us liked to go walking. But you couldn't tell once inside the house or in the yard by the lake. We just had too much fun! Thanks and will definitely rent again if we get a chance!

Disappointed

The cabin has a great layout and location, but when we got there the cleaning crew was still there an hour after check in, the house was smoked out from the oven being in cleaned, they left the sheets drying in the dryer, years of cobwebs were on the windows all the windows were left open and on in the bathroom would not lock , I had to tie the door shut for everyone to feel safe. I would rather nothing than to say anything bad but for the price of this cabin these things need to be addressed

Yearly summer vacation at Big Nate

We have booked at this property many times and have found it to be a nice place to stay and visit family for our annual reunion. We have always had property manager, get back to us at a timely manner with any questions of concern. However, we had some water damage in the lower level from heavy rains. We left a voicemail on the owners number, and a message on Vrbo to have someone get back to us regarding this problem. We did not get any response via text or phone. We were more concerned for the damage if any at their house. Our personal belongings were intact without any damage. It was disheartening to know that they did not follow up on this with us as it could’ve turned out to be an unfortunate set of circumstances. We hope this constructive comment helps future guests as this really is a nice place to stay.

Nice But Lacking

Because it was in November, we were looking forward to a blazing fire, but there was no gas. I paid in full 2 months early, why didn't we have gas? Too much needed to think the kitchen was proper, even though there was 2. Due to small steps, my 79 year old husband fell going downstairs and my 21 year old grandson fell from the loft. Bottom step was the problem. We had 8 people reserved, the kitchen table sits 4. Very noisy. Half of the chairs were broken. I almost fell over the first time I sat down. Even though we rented Ms. Natalie last year, this was so bad, I will never rent either again.

Unprofessional

One owner started yelling at my eighty year old Dad while he was sitting on the porch while the other Owner came in the house without warning or notice did not knock just walked in and said we need to know how many people are staying here. We did not exceed nightly occupancy. The owner also said it was a shared boat ramp we were blocking and we had too many vehicles parked on premises with the max being 4 for a 12 person cabin. The amenities are not as they are described and the owners were unfortunately rude. It ruined the last day we had. Some of the family left due to getting so upset at the confrontational approach that was used.

I apologize for our behavior. We were upset there was so many cars in the driveway. The neighbor next door was upset because it blocked their driveway. They were also upset about all the partying going on. Ultimately, they refused to move the cars. I will now have a sign in the house that only 5 cars are allowed. Visitors will be limited to no more than 4 people.
