We appreciate both the the positive and negative feedback we received in this review. Past reviews for the home shows that we take extreme pride in making sure the home is very clean in all aspects. Carpet cleaning, wall repairs (needing paint due guests scuffing them with their luggage and items that experience normal wear over time) are promptly addressed in between guest visits. But in this rare occasions there was an inability to address these to the normal standards due to granting an extension on the prior guests stay. This left only time for the Cleaners and not enough time for a Handyman visit. This feedback will help us in adjusting our scheduling for the Handyman going forward. As for beds, we strategically have different comfort levels for guests to choose between. And the feedback regarding mattress protectors is noted. Again, feedback in all aspects can be used to improve the experience for guests. And we will certainly do so.

We appreciate the feedback and we’ll seek to make updates where necessary and provide better details for future guests to explain where to find certain items. We also encourage our guests to reach out to us for assistance with “anything” small or big. A quick phone call or text would have help us to assist where possible. Having host nearly 200 nights stays YTD. Many of these noted are in the home but we’ll do better with making them more accessible. The home has always been stocked with kitchen linens in the drawer and a visible standing hand towel rack on the counter. We’ve learned that that our sheet pans were accidentally taking by a prior guest who prepared several food items and needed to take sheet pans with them. So they’re being replaced but are usually in the lower cabinet. We give guests the ability to control the temperature throughout the home. So there’s one additional blanket for each room but we’ll consider having more. All other items noted will be considered as well as we usually make sure there are enough toilet paper, trash bags, etc based on the number of night stays. This is the first time having it mentioned as not being enough. So we definitely appreciate the feedback.

With that being said, it’s very unfortunate that this guest didn’t take the opportunity to bring these things to our attention during their stay. Thus, giving us the chance to make their stay a more pleasant one. We’ve been hosting for quite some time now and have earned the status of Premier Host. You don’t do that by not valuing what you do when hosting. As you review past guests reviews. You’ll notice that this current review is a great contrast to the others and that they focused on everything that made their stay unpleasant versus reaching out for assistance with things that may have helped to make their experience better (like we encourage every guest to do). Again we value to opportunity to make improvements and while checking with our newly hired Cleaner. It does look like some areas may have been overlooked and this feedback reminds of the importance of always using our go to team members. To get the job done right.
