We were looking to have a quiet, restful Thanksgiving, and this property was perfect for that. The view is beautiful, and the cabin is cozy and had everything we needed to settle in. We had a lovely time.

We all loved staying in this beautiful cabin. Very peaceful, enjoying the fire pit while watching the river traffic. Great view of the river even from inside the cabin. And, it is conveniently located to the nearby restaurant and store in Derby.

Cabin had everything you would need. Very pet friendly. Gus and Gracie had wonderful 1st trip away from home.. We loved the fenced in yard.. Perfect weekend!! Awesome views!!

Such a beautiful location right along the river. The house is very inviting with all of the amenities that you would need. My husband and I cooked breakfast every morning and enjoyed sitting and eating while looking at the river. We had a great view of the full Beaver moon over the river and got to watch the fish jump and seeming glow in the moonlight.

The cabin was fantastic. The kitchen had all the needed items for cooking. The beds were comfortable. The views were unbelievable. The host provided a telescope and binoculars for viewing. The porch had plenty of seating and a table for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If you have a dog they have a doggie dog from the porch that leads to a ramp going down to a fenced in yard. There is also a gate on the porch if you have small children. The yard leading down to the river has a huge rock that is a great place to sit a watch the boats go by. There is a TV, but we never watched it. The cabin also has a washer and dryer. The host provides many little extras to make your stay pleasant.

Initial impression upon entering the property is very positive, pleasing to the eye. The view of the Ohio is very satisfying. A generous kitchen and great room make the stay so enjoyable. A very large screen TV that can be easily viewed from anywhere in the kitchen or great room. The internet connection allows for your streaming pleasure. That was easy. Bedrooms were adequate and comfortable. The Bathroom is a generous size with a shower and lavatory. Bathroom is well stocked to provide you with most all of the basic essentials. A washer and clothes dryer is offered, I however did not use them. The big deck allows for the comfortable viewing of the river. I hope a solution for all the stink bugs can be applied here.A fully stocked kitchen makes for a good place to gather for a home cooked meal with the family. All the rest of the accomodations were very good. All this, and it is affordable. I hade an enjoyble time here. Thank you.

we really enjoyed the scenic view and the cabin was very clean and well stocked. This was just a very relaxing stay for us and we are thinking of returning next year.

Overall nice place. Location and outdoor setting was perfect. My only tip would be that the cleaning crew could have done a better job with dusting, cobwebs, washing inside fridge and freezer, and sweeping the wood floors. The beds, bathroom and kitchen were in excellent shape cleanliness wise so I overlooked the rest. There were three bags of trash on the porch upon arrival that the cleaning crew did not take with them but the owner came and got them my last night there. I’ll still return, but maybe the cleaning crew will give better attention next time. Small unincorporated town but I knew that when I booked. I was looking for quiet and peaceful. I did go into Tell City to look around at the flood gates murals, and to Cannelton Locks and Dam to watch the barges and boats lock through. Enjoyed a campfire at night and morning on the big deck watching the sunrise.

Enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Very clean, in a quiet location, and has a great view of the river. Everything you need to cook with. Did this trip with 5 others and it accommodated our needs perfectly. Very reasonable drive to Holiday World as well. Would highly recommend and we will definitely plan on visiting again in the future.

We always enjoy our stay in this cozy cabin. It’s our second time renting it and it’s the perfect getaway. We had a small issue arise during our stay and Andrew was very responsive to address it. There was a fix the same day! We will definitely be back for future stays.

Other than mosquitos it was beautiful. We used the cabin for Holiday World and it was about a 30 minute commute. The website says 21 miles. Would love to stay here in the winter. Great place and value.
