Peaceful 3 Story Log Cabin Chalet w/Hot Tub

This is a 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath,
3 story log cabin chalet. Located in a quiet culdesac bordering the Chugach Forest. Close to fishing, hiking, biking, cross country and downhill skiing. Located one mile from the day lodge and base of the mountain. Enjoy amazing restaurants, cafés, galleries and brewery.
Our chalet has every thing you need. The down stairs is the TV room with two spacious sofa sleepers, laundry room, second bathroom and work space. The second floor is the main entrance with a full kitchen, living room, main bathroom and beautiful sunroom that can be utilized in the summer. The third floor has two bedrooms, one over looking the back yard and the second bedroom overlooks the front yard and has a private balcony. Enjoy during the winter or the summer months. Time on the mountain is enjoyed year-round. Winter skiing is everywhere. Come play on amazing Nordic ski trails or breathtaking mountain slopes.
To avoid any surprises, please be aware of your surroundings outside. You may see wild animals. We have security cameras on the exterior of the chalet.

Communication with the hosts was excellent from booking through arrival. When we had concerns about road conditions, they were quick to respond with updates and were even kind enough to offer a date change if we couldn’t make it for our Friday reservation — truly above and beyond.This is by far the nicest cabin I’ve ever rented in Alaska. It’s affordable, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could need. The hot tub, sun porch, and incredible kitchen (seriously — the best gadgets!) made staying in feel like a dream vacation. Every bed was comfortable, and the entire space is absolutely charming.I can’t recommend this place enough — we can’t wait to return!

If you are looking to get away with a spouse, your bestie or the fam, this BEAUTIFUL chalet has you COVERED! These owners have thought of it ALL - seriously. Even in the cold winters I perfer the noise of a fan and guess what, they had it. I forgot my lent roller, they had one (brand new it looked like). It was slightly slick outside due to inclement weather. We woke up to the drive salted! I'm telling you, this chalet has everything you could need, think of and then some more! And dont let the size full you. This chalet is 3 stories!!! You could put the kids on a level, your in laws on another and still have a place to think to yourself. Oh, and did i mention they have a hot tub!!! It doesn't get ANY BETTER! It was quiet, lovely and just what we needed after the hustle and bustle of the city. The owners were a JOY to work with and just the nicest folks! It was my husbands birthday and Thanksgiving, and they took the time to wish him the best of birthdays! If you are looking to have the MOST FABULOUS TIME in Girdwood - Stay Here! Thank you so much! We will be back!!

The cabin was perfect. Everything was clean and we had everything we needed. Location was within walking distance (with walking paths) to downtown. Host gave lots of recommendations and info on local restaurants and things to do! Our girls loved the downstairs area and the hot tub!

Nice clean facility with all the amenities needed for travel and then some.The bathrooms are not located on the same floor as the main bedrooms which is a bit of an inconvenience, but we made it work.Hot tub served its purpose well.

This is a wonderful chalet in a convenient location. It is very clean and nicely decorated. We appreciate how well equipped the kitchen is—it has very good pots and pans. We highly recommend it for anyone traveling to this area.

This property was great!! Very clean and great location. Check-in was very easy and the hosts were extremely helpful and responsive to our questions. My only warning would be to anyone with physical restrictions that would keep them from being able to use stairs. All bedrooms are either up or down stairs and the main bathroom is on the main floor. Laundry capability was also a huge plus in this beautiful cabin.

Had everything we needed and more, lots of thought to detail (hairbands for hottub use) and space. Very easy location and such pretty scenery, nature and animals (hummingbirds, quiet chickens and squirrel). Had bear spray and a bell so I didn't even need to buy any! Super comfortable beds, all the heating and cooling all over the house, very well lit areas but blackout curtains for the summer (also light sensors for the stairs and near bathroom!) and VERY easy, minimal check out asks. Check in was the easier than staying at a hotel with very reasonable times and great communication. Looked like the pictures but better. thanks Debbie!

Girdwood Location

Great location, lovely back porch to hang out on. There are stairs, but they weren't a problem for us. Coffee and Teas were provided in a Keurig, so enjoyed having coffee on the porch. We didn't cook meals in the house as we were out and about exploring the area. Great location and great communication with the owner.

Cozy, comfy cabin with easy access to Alyeska

The cabin was great. Kitchen well supplied, beds super comfortable, excellent booklet of instructions and area recommendations. Great place to relax, unwind and enjoy all that Girdwood has to offer. Quick drive to the ski slopes & Alyeska Resort. Also easy to walk into town along paved trail if you want to get some exercise or enjoy the outdoors.

GREAT getaway!

This was the CUTEST place I have ever stayed in Girdwood! Had a nice little weekend away with my husband and it was perfect! Would also be fun for a girl’s getaway. All the little touches throughout the place were just that extra touch that made it feel luxurious and comfortable. I loved the lighting throughout. Everything worked like a charm. The linens, beds, towels, etc. were so soft! Loved this place and definitely want to come back!

We are lifelong Alaskans. Our children grew up in Anchorage. We would come to Girdwood for weekends and holidays. Now we get to welcome people to this special place:)

We are located on a quiet cul-de-sac 1 mile from Mt Alyeska. You can hike right out of our backyard into the Chugach forest. There are also walking and biking trails nearby.

Our beautiful, three story log cabin is inviting and comfortable. The sunroom in the summer is our favorite place to relax. The hot tub in the summer and winter is a perfect start or finish to any day.
