Notre maison de plage Pleasure Point est idéalement située à mi-chemin entre la célèbre promenade de Santa Cruz et le pittoresque village de Capitola. Nous sommes situés à trois pâtés de maisons des falaises océaniques, avec accès à certaines des meilleures plages de surf et plus privées de Santa Cruz. Nous sommes également à quelques pas des cafés, restaurants et magasins de surf de la 41ème avenue. Détendez-vous dans notre cour ensoleillée et très privée. Profitez des chaises Adirondack, de la douche extérieure, du gril à gaz extérieur, des repas sur le patio et du bain à remous pour 6 personnes. En 2018-2019, j'ai investi plus de 30 000 $ dans un nouveau spa et aménagement paysager de l'arrière-cour. Tu vas l'adorer.
Nous avons constamment rénové notre maison de plage à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur, tout en conservant le charme d'origine des bungalows. Nous avons des appareils haut de gamme (réfrigérateur LG, laveuse / sécheuse à chargement frontal), installé un système stéréo Bose intérieur / extérieur, ainsi que l’Internet haut débit et la télévision par câble. Il y a de la place pour 6 personnes pour dormir sur des lits, et en plus, nous avons un berceau portable et un lit aéro. Notre maison est super familiale et adaptée aux enfants, et équipée avec beaucoup de ce que vous voudriez pour des vacances en famille à la plage telles que des vélos de croiseur, des vélos pour enfants, des casques, un wagon rouge, des planches de boogie, des chaises de plage / parasols, ainsi qu'un hamac dans le jardin.
Pleasure Point est notre endroit préféré sur la côte centrale californienne pour profiter de la plage et des magnifiques environs, des forêts de séquoias au pays du vin. Nous sommes impatients de partager notre maison de plage avec vous!

Host was responsive and friendly, house was well appointed and comfortable. We had everything we needed, and hot tub is clean. A really great location for walking, biking and as a base came for exploring Santa Cruz, Monterey and the surrounding areas.

Wonderful house in a great neighborhood
This house has everything you need for a trip to the ocean. Great location as the ocean is just a couple of blocks down the street. The fully fenced front and back yards were perfect for our 9 year old golden retriever to enjoy. The back yard dining area, the Adirondack chairs on the patio....just what we needed on this trip. Inside was perfect for us. And their meaninful art pieces make this house a notch above a bland rental. Can't wait to go back.

Amazing Beach House in an incredible neighborhood
We loved everything about this house. The owner is awesome, the neighborhood is so darling with lots of kids and super close beach access, and it's very close to lots of great dining and the Capitola Village shops. Can't wait to stay again!

Glad to be back at Camp Oso!
This is the perfect location in my honest opinion- it’s the best neighborhood in Santa Cruz! The house is welcoming and stocked with everything you need. Eric and Carol are excellent hosts and quick to respond with anything we needed. Our dog loved the yard and her daily walks to the beach and it was such a treat to have her with us. Vacationing with your dog is the best!

Great thanksgiving stay!
The house is beautiful in a great location in Pleasure point neighborhood! It has everything you could want for entertaining: hot tub, gas grill, Traeger smoker, fireplace, great living room, outdoor dining. Open space fenced in is perfect for dogs.
The pictures are accurate, but it’s better in person.
Owner was extremely kind and responsive.

Cute bungalow with excellent location
We were a party of four adults and a dog. The house is very well situated, just a few blocks from the beach. It has a nice driveway that fits two cars. The hot tub was a nice treat at the end of the day. I was concerned upon arrival when I saw the beautiful antique stove, but it worked perfectly! We had a nice thanksgiving weekend here and we look forward to returning in the future.

Wonderful surf weekend
We had a great long weekend and surfing getaway. The house is a perfect location, just a few blocks from Pleasure Point. The yard is terrific, a lovely spot to hang out and visit or relax, as well as spacious and well designed for surf gear -- the outdoor shower is brilliant. There are a number of great places to eat in walking distance and a good cafe just 5 minutes away. The house was very comfortable for two couples and one child. We hope to be back soon!

Perfect family getaway
We instantly felt at home and relaxed when we got to Camp Oso! Great location and stocked with everything we needed. We are a family of 5 and there was plenty of room to spread out. The hot tub was lovely and super clean. The hammock and porch swing added to the relaxed vibe and the lawn games were great for some family fun. Nightly walks with our dog along the cliffs was a highlight along with surfing down in Capitola. Some of our favorite restaurants were in walking distance and shopping is always fantastic along 41st street. We can’t wait to come back to Camp Oso!

Violas birthday holiday
Very nice outdoor accommodations with front yard and backyard usable for young children. Outdoor seating for eating was very comfortable. son-in-law and father-in-law relaxed in the hot tub. Tons of toys for the young kids to play with. Kitchen, living room and bedrooms worked perfect for our family size. Close to coffee shops and the surf, beaches, science, center walking distance to tacos that were delicious. Very enjoyable would love to come back and make this an annual trip.

Wonderful location!
The backyard is amazing with an outdoor shower, hot tub and hammock. It’s a dream! And everything you could need for the beach with bikes, surf boards, beach equipment, etc. This house had very comfortable beds! The master felt more like a full bed than a queen, but still very comfy! We never used the indoor shower, looked very small and we’re 6ft so we would have had to bend to get our heads to get wet, but pretty typical for beach houses in this area. Location is amazing, quick walk to watch the surfers at pleasure point and great coffee shops. Love the fenced in yard (front and back) especially with our dog and toddler. Would love to come back!
The owner was very nice, but check in was a little confusing. The property manager said to text for the front door code (not sure why they wouldn’t just give it to us), and then we couldn’t get a hold of her and it was past check in time. Overall great stay!

Great location and yard
I stayed here with my 20 year old daughter for a week while we moved her into an apartment downtown. We came from across country and after a long travel day did not enjoy having to track down the property manager for the door code, which we got after the 3:00 check in time. This is u professional. A couple of things about the home: all of the windows were unlocked when we arrived. Additionally the door from the master to the backyard was broken. It did not lock and the indoor handle fell completely off when touched. Both of these things made me question the safety. Finally, there was an ant problem in the bathroom- luckily owner had ant spray available which I used several times. There were cobwebs in corners inside - made me wonder how clean it was. The home is old and while everything works, some areas are in clear need of replacing.
With that out of the way, lots of good too! House felt spacious and beds were comfy. Awesome to have driveway parking! The yard is amazing. I have stayed in Santa Cruz several times and this house by far has the most “amenities”. The hot tub was clean and spacious. There were loads of bikes and boards. Nice clean laundry room with full sized appliances. Great water pressure in shower. Location cannot be beat. Super quiet and private due to the thoughtful fencing and landscaping.
While I loved the location and yard, I likely would not stay here again. Solid communication and property ate a must for me.

Pleasure Point perfection
Location, location, location! This great little beach shack is located within easy walking distance of East Cliff walkway, beaches, surfing, coffee, food, shops, fitness and more. We loved being able to get to everything by foot or by the bikes provided on site. The beach house is small, charming and homey. We enjoyed the outdoor shower and clean hot tub. Any questions we had were quickly and patiently answered. We hope to retire to the beach life someday and this gave us a perfect taste of what that would be like. And yes, it was perfection!

We love this bungalow for our annual surf vacation
We’re a surfing family of 5 and this bungalow has everything we need — a hot outdoor shower, hot tub and close proximity to our favorite surf breaks. We also love having access to the beach cruisers so we can tool around town like locals. We look forward to coming back!

Wonderful Pleasure Point House!
We have had such a wonderful time at this lovely home. It’s the perfect beach house, within walking distance to great Surfing waves, amazing coffee and food, and Beautiful walks along East Cliff Dr. The owner is so helpful and the house is well stocked with anything you might need. Fantastic.
My wife and I loved this place. There are lots of bikes and surfboards and an out door shower for when you come back from surfing... but to be honest- we loved the hot tub. The house is cozy and has everything you want. Couple blocks from great coffee, couple of blocks from Pleasure Point. It's in a terrific and quiet neighborhood that is amazing to walk around.

Our family enjoyed the outside shower/the spa. Loved all UC Bear trinkets.
We enjoyed our stay extremely, just to let you know of a few things:
The house had a slight gas smell, when we arrived and the stove was warm like if it was left on, texted management they said it was checked by PG&E so we were fine after knowing that.
The hammock was torn from one side we didn’t get to enjoy it, afraid if we sat on it the hammock would tear completely off.
The stove top filter, should be replace or cleaned, it in bad shape. A lot of build up lint, dirt and grease. Pretty gross... I did let management know about the above issues.
The bunk beds are not comfortable at all, too hard for teens, kids preferred to sleep on the couch.
Could not get the outside speakers to work either. Not a big deal but it would have been fun to have the music playing thru the house.
These are minor details that are easily fixed. I would love to stay here again. We did have a blast!

Thanks for thoughtful feedback. I have carbon monoxide and fire alarms throughout the house. The antique Wedgwood stove does run warm on pilot and is normal. I’ve made some new notes inside to find spare hammock and how to use indoor/outdoor bose system. Thanks again. We are always improving!

Fantastic beach house for surfers
My family of 5 stayed here for 5 wonderful nights and we can't wait to return. My 3 kids (ages 12, 10 and 8) absolutely loved this bungalow. We walked to our favorite surf break every morning, and returned to the wonderful hot shower and hot tub every afternoon. Now we can't have it any other way! The house had beach cruisers for all 5 of us, and we felt like locals riding along the coast and to the nearby coffee shops. We had everything we could ever want for our surf vacation. The owner very thoughtfully placed notes and instructions throughout the house, which made it easy to navigate. It was comfortable, clean and perfect for a family surf vacation. We will book it again next year.

Great location & amenities!
We chose this property because of the location to the beach and boardwalk, along with the enclosed back and front yards since we have 2 small children. The beach was in walking distance but not much area for "sand play" (but still beautiful) and boardwalk was a short drive. The front and back yards are immaculate and we spent most of our time outdoors enjoying the grass and hot tub!

I purchased this as a second home in 2003 because I loved coming down to Santa Cruz on the weekends to surf and hang out with family and friends. I've refinished my 1948 house inside and out while keeping the original charm, like the original cedar floors, hand scalloped beams, and Wedgewood stove.

Our house is close to some of the best beaches for surfing, fishing, jogging, and playing with kids and dogs. We are also a short walk to the fun shops and restaurants on 41st Ave, and a short bike ride to Capitola Village, where we like to go for dinner.
Pleasure Point has a unique micro climate that has more sun, and less wind, than Aptos and the town of Santa Cruz. 35th Ave is not a through street and so we have very little car traffic.

Our house is exceptionally private and quiet. Our backyard has 10' fences, jasmin and passion flower trellises that block neighbors views. Both the front a backyards are fenced in for safety and there is parking in the driveway for two cars. We have a dog friendly front and backyard with top quality artificial turf.
We enjoying dining on outdoor patio, while listening to music on the indoor/outdoor sound system, and cooking on the gas grill. There is a restaurant grade gas heater above the patio table to keep you cozy on a chilly night. Our friends love the 6-seat hot tub, hammock, and large outdoor shower.
