This sophisticated 3br/2ba home is newly renovated and ready for you! The inviting living room with gas fireplace creates a cozy space to gather and relax, while the open, designer-appointed kitchen, wine bar, and dining nook are ideal for cooking and entertaining. The covered patio and charcoal grill are ideal for relaxing outside.

Have a boat or jet ski? This home has 100' of docking frontage on a canal just a few hundred feet off the Indian River, which connects to both Burt and Mullet Lake via the Inland Waterway.

Like to snowmobile or snow ski? This home is adjacent to the North Central State Trail, and is an easy drive to both Nub's Nob and Boyne Highlands. Use the attached two-car garage and utility shed to store your vehicles and equipment.

Want to experience Northern Michigan attractions? This home is situated within an easy drive to Mackinac City, Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Cheboygan, and other "Top O' the Mitt" destinations.

Just shy of 5 stars
A very nice place to stay. I enjoyed everything about this place but I feel there are some things that need attention. The sofa in the living room is like sitting in a bean bag chair with almost the same difficulty getting up from it. This has been pointed out by previous guests. I am a veteran with a bad knee and was disappointed that this was the only viable seating in the living room area. Also, I feel that guests shouldn’t be asked to strip the linen from their beds. The microwave is mounted at knee level in the kitchen island and is slightly difficult to use. Also , the toaster was broken which only became apparent the morning of checkout . The hot tub was not working, but that was pointed out by the hosts prior to renting. All of these are very minor issues and overall the property is very nice .

No Snow
The house was perfect, and the layout works great when you have another family with you. We planned to go snow skiing, but Michigan decided not to have snow, but we had fun being together. The only thing we didn't like was the couch was a little uncomfortable but ok.

Weekend with Old Friends
Our accommodations were perfect for our great weekend. Everything was like new; beautiful home. Being next to the water channel was wonderful. Our pontoon was moored and at the ready. All eight of us were highly satisfied. Strongly recommend.

Indiana River
Nice house, great location to dock a boat. Unfortunately the weather did t cooperate. We were very happy with the condition and location of the house. My only suggestion would be, different living room furniture. The couch was the only comfortable piece of furniture in the LR. Not a deal breaker though we would rent this house again.

Indian River Get-Away
We found that the house suited our needs perfectly! The water access allowed us to keep our boat and 1 JetSki right there at the house to make access to the River and the lakes very easy! The house was clean and provided all the amenities that we needed for our week-long stay. The beds were very comfortable, the living space made relaxing very easy and the kitchen was nicely supplied with everything we needed! We had a couple of quite chilly nights and the fireplace was just perfect! Thank you for letting us 'stay' at your house!!

We are Amanda & Bryan Proctor. We live in metro Detroit with our three teenage daughters, but we also have a home on nearby Burt Lake. We spend time as a family in Indian River year round, so we know the area well. Our Burt Lake home is our happy place, and we aim to bring that same feeling of serenity and happiness to you here at Diane Drive. We have two big, slobbery labs (Duke and Daisy) and are ferocious MSU Spartan fans. :)
