Perfect location, clean, but bare bones

Nothing will beat the location. Bay view, walk to the beach and Pirate’s Den. The unit is completely renovated, and everything is in good shape. The entire place was spotless, even baseboards and under the beds, etc. Plenty of pillows on the beds, they were comfy, and so was the couch. We did run into several issues that made our stay less than ideal: 1. The common space is cooled by an in-wall unit which is visible in the listing photos. I am used to their general noise as we live in a home without central air ourselves. This one is clearly old, however, and is so ungodly loud you couldn’t have it on if you were spending any time at all in the common space. We worked around it by leaving the bedroom ones (which are perfectly quiet) on with the doors open, which kept it cool enough, and then we would turn the big one on when we were leaving. Owner is aware of the issue. 2. Someone stole or broke all of his cereal bowls. Every single one. We had brought some lunch containers with us to pack food for the beach, but it made for some interesting dish washing work arounds. 3. The unit is bare bones supplied. There was no iron to press our nice clothes for a family reunion. Just a few little things like that where a few more items would have been appreciated. But all of your essentials will be provided. We have family on the island and just really need beds, and could work with almost anything. If the air conditioner was replaced, we would absolutely book this unit again.

All around a great place and location

If you’re looking for a nice place on the far end of the island this is it !! . Really close to the beach a few blocks away from the lifeguards. True to the description and pictures. The owner responded to all requests within hours and was extremely helpful. I highly recommend this place 4 adults worked well with no issues.
