This place was very clean, nice and in a safe area. The host was very nice and answered all of my questions extremely fast. If I come back to Chicago I will try my best to stay here again!!

Pros: fast communication with host, beds were nice and fairly clean, no creepy crawlers, very quiet space. Cons: not what was depicted, several stained items including blankets (picture was sent to the host), carpet needs to be redone, bathroom tub paint is chipping, door knobs falling off constantly ( also sent to host), pots and pans old, all stove eyes don’t work and blinds broke off in every room.

Great stay!

Apartment was clean and sheets and towels were available for our big group. Comfy beds. Don’t park beside the building as it is residential parking (3 am - 6 am) unless you have a city permit. One of our parties got a ticket :( Overall, it was a positive experience!

My week in the Chi💓

My stay was amazing I appreciate jd for being extremely understanding and quick to respond. I came here for a birthday vacay but due to the storm in Florida my stay was extended and I’d helped accommodate me and my sister until we can find an optional route out of town. The location is amazing many stores in the area. No problem with check in. Would stay again.

Very attentive

We arrived a little early and our original property wasnt available but JD accomodated us with 2 other great properties throughout our stay and everything worked favorably. Enjoyed our short stay in Chicago and JD is a very pleasant host.

Quick family vacation

Overall, our stay in this property was great. The owner was very responsive to our needs. The apartment was small but comfortable. The street parking required extra patience but we were able to find a space close by without too much stress. The neighbors were friendly and the apartment building, in general, seemed well maintained. After spending the day doing touristy things, coming home to this rental was a relief.

Moving to Chicago

We stayed in Berwyn to be close enough to visit Chicago to view apartments for our move. It was a great area though and we ended up enjoying walking to the many parks within a mile of the apartment. The space was ready made for a small family, but I will note the second bedroom is more open plan. This was not an issue for us as we used this room as a secondary play area and office. The WiFi and AC units worked great. The kitchen was well-stocked and there are many places to shop and eat close by. We loved the neighborhood and neighbors were welcoming. We highly recommend this stay for families—it can be hard to travel with all of the extras but they had it ready for us.

Great host

The unit was beautiful. The 2nd bedroom is not a traditional bdrm, JD was very creative in how he used the space in the unit. We liked it! The location was good for our needs. There is street parking and like many Chicago neighborhoods it can be the luck of the draw finding a spot to ones specific needs, which isnt a problem for me. JD was accomodating with us having an additional guest and moved us to a larger unit/ bldg a few blocks aways just as the 1st place the 2nd was great. The nieghborhoods as many restaurants. I felt safe walking late at night when I had to park a couple blocks away. At times we found a spot right outside the bldg and other times we got a spot 1-3blocks away. I definitly JD's units on the books for a return stay.

Good place to stay

The space was clean, well organized, and had everything we needed to get ready for a friend’s wedding. We did have trouble contacting the owner initially, but every subsequent communication with him after was quick and thorough.
