Expansive windows and spacious walkout decks bring the outdoors in, offering natural light, fresh mountain air, and 180-degree panoramic views extending to the horizon. The nature intimate design allows guests to form a connection with the beauty, wildlife, and culture of Colorado!

Challenge your family and friends to ping pong, arcade, and board games in the exhilarating game room. Transport to Hollywood in the Dolby Atmos surround sound home theater. Float under a star filled sky in the home’s infinity style hot tub. Become mesmerized watching the snow glisten onto the Rocky Mountains while snuggling up to a crackling fire. Turn on the heated bathroom floors and take a romantic bath in the master suite with captivating views.

Guests will also have access to a kitchen, dining area, coffee bar, living room and in house laundry. City and mountain views aren’t the only abundance at the property, guests will also enjoy everyday visits from elk, deer, bears, turkeys, and multiple bird species.

The most gorgeous views! We were celebrating our son’s 30 birthday and it was the perfect place. My daughter lives in Denver (we drove in from OKC) and we wanted to go to Blackhawk to the Casino, so worked out perfectly. The house was very clean and had anything you need. Nate was very helpful with whatever needed. If you are handicapped or have a hard time with stairs might not be the place for you, but was perfect for us.

My daughter called this the dream house. Honestly, I think I could have just stayed there and never left! There were large bucks that enjoyed laying in the side yard in the evenings, and we actually woke up to a morning where the clouds were below us, so it truly was a cabin the clouds. Definitely our favorite Vrbo experience so far.

Perfect, beautiful, spotless, spacious home for me and my siblings for three nights when we attended my son's wedding. Despite frigid temperatures, the home was welcoming and warm. The humidifiers in each bedroom were essential extras in the dry mountain air. Large herds of elk were nearby, and we even saw some wild turkeys. It was wonderful to message the host directly rather than a property manager. Bedding and towels were luxurious. Wonderful stay!

We recently stayed at this property and overall had a pleasant visit. The home has several standout features, including beautiful views, frequent wildlife sightings, a spacious open floor plan, a well-equipped game room, a theater room, and a relaxing hot tub. These amenities made for an enjoyable stay and the property has a lot of potential as a premium vacation rental.That said, we were disappointed by several maintenance and cleanliness issues that felt out of place for a property advertised as a luxury rental. We found several maintenance and cleanliness issues that did not meet that standard, including dirty and rusty kitchen knives, a dirty cutting board, an electrical outlet hanging out of the wall, a broken shower caddy left on the shower floor, and worn, damaged deck chairs. None of these issues individually were major, but collectively they detracted from the experience.Communication was another area where improvements could be made. Questions were not answered until the following day, and we received no notice that a decorator and the owner would be visiting the property during our stay. Their vehicles occupied much of the narrow driveway while we were trying to leave, creating confusion and making it difficult to get our vehicles out.While we enjoyed the property, the condition, communication, and unannounced visit fell short of the expectations set by the listing and price point.

Fantastic Stay at the Cabin in the Clouds

The Cabin in the Clouds was beautiful and exactly as advertised. Very well appointed, everything worked perfectly, kitchen was well stocked for cooking, communication with the host was flawless and the location was fantastic for our trip to Red Rocks, Denver and Boulder. I highly recommend this property.
