My son, the groom, his brother and his other groomsmen loved their stay! They Ubered to the house honoring the host's wishes to keep vehicles off the street. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for a nice overnight stay for the group. They enjoyed the backyard area to visit together and were mindful of keeping quiet after 9 pm. They all together straightened up before checking out early for the wedding.Our host was very accommodating and shared all the details about the house to insurea warm welcome and exit.Thank you so much!

Wedding Weekend

This home was simply amazing! It was immaculate, decorated beautifully and extremely comfortable. We could not have enjoyed our stay more. The only thing I could say is that I wish we could have enjoyed our time there longer! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Wedding trip

We had family coming in from different locations and wanted to spend as much time together as we could. The house was perfect for this. We cooked breakfast together every morning and ate outside by the pool. The boys swim and played ball in the yard. Overall we just had a perfect family getaway.

Property was as advertised. Clean, spacious, quiet neighborhood. House was kept up well. Expect to bring everything right down to paper towels and extra TP. Price was very high due to the FIFA matches in DFW. Pool is small. Only 2 bathrooms for 5 bedrooms. Worst part about the whole experience was the check in / check out process.. a lot of questions, I d checks, photos (including selfie), surveys. Ask you several times about number of cars, people staying and visitors. They have cameras outside that watch this. How many cars are there, do not park on the street, they will text you. Understand that it’s a city ordinance but it was annoying. I rent a lot or VRBOs and have never had so many questions and surveying .. just beware

Inside of house was no issue. Nice place. Pool hadnt been serviced in weeks, if not months. Lawn was a foot high with grass and weeds in many areas in backyard. Pool was unusable it was so bad. Notified them 3 times and just got "thanks for letting us know" and we'll take care of it. Not during my 9 day stay and it was over 90 for 5 of the days.

The home is large and accommodated our group well. The master bathroom was odd. Super large area but the toilet isn't enclosed. It's open to a large bathroom, very strange. This house had 5 bedrooms with beds for lots of people, but only 2 bathrooms. Not enough if all beds are taken. One of the bedrooms had ants and we told the management company but it was not taken care of until the day before we left. We rented the house for 7 days and in the first 2 days the dishwasher spewed out of the kitchen sink and had to be repaired and ants were reported in one bedroom. The pest control company came the afternoon before we checked out. We couldn't use that bedroom all week and so one of the adults in our group had to sleep in bunk beds in another room. The management company refunded 10% of our cost because of the ant situation. It wasn't bad, just inconvenient and uncomfortable since the only extra option for sleeping was a bunk bed in an unused bedroom.

1. The check in- although I appreciate the diligence with security, it is quite cumbersome and expensive.2. For the exorbitant rental rate- we had to clean everything when we go there as it was very superficial. Sticky greasy kitchen surfaces, dirty cupboards and drawers inside- kitchen sink faucet was difficult- got fixed a few days prior to our check out; 3. Couldn't actually use the garage....vehicles don't fit. No way 4 vehicles can part- thank goodness we only had 2-one inside one outside.4. Don't advertise a pool and have it filled if it cannot be used all year round. Just sayin...the house is very comfortable, beds great...living room furniture- not so much- cute but uncomfortable. 5. No water pressure until 4 days before we departed. It was turned almost off the entire remainder of the time! 6. The host was very nice...but I can't believe anyone can charge 10k per month for a rental in waxahachie, TX. That's painful.

Communicative Host, Struggles with Cleanliness

This is a nice house with spacious rooms, but we encountered several issues with regards to cleanliness. There were clumps of hair on the floors, in the pool, and even on the front porch. Items were left in the backyard from previous guests. Food was caked on various surfaces. The towels were rolled up neatly on the beds, but they were very damp. There was also a significant fly infestation that seemed to be primarily in the kitchen. I wondered if food had been left out, or if the trashcan became a breeding ground for flies. Overall, it seemed like the cleaning crew just rushed through the job. This would be a good place to stay if it was cleaner. The host was very responsive and the house is located in a safe part of town, close to the darling square in Waxahachie!
