Stunning Family Home in Redwoods
This is a spacious, family-friendly home nestled in the Redwoods. With two decks, a beautiful yard, and a creek, the home backs up to open space, though you are just moments from historic downtown Larkspur, and just 10 miles to San Francisco. We have rented our home on Airbnb for years and have excellent reviews there. This is our first time listing on VRBO, hence no reviews yet.
The space
Magnificent and luxurious light-filled 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath home ideally located in the gorgeous Madrone Canyon. Hiking trails are mere moments from the front door. Redwoods surround the house - who needs Muir Woods?! (No, but seriously, you should go to Muir Woods too!). Sunny and warm, enjoy the beautiful surroundings from one of two decks, cook out on the grill, or walk into town to enjoy fine dining at Picco, Perry's, or the Left Bank.
Downstairs: Hardwood and tile floors, gourmet, fully-stocked chef's kitchen, two fireplaces, formal living and dining rooms plus separate family great room. Half bath. There is a very comfortable, tall, queen size blow up mattress provided for use in the spacious living room, plus a queen size sofa bed, and a large sectional sofa in the family great room.
Upstairs: Carpeted floors with views from every room. Large master bedroom with en suite bathroom has king size bed. Second bedroom has twin size bunk beds and a twin size trundle bed. Third bedroom has queen size bed. Fourth bedroom has a twin loft bed. These three bedrooms share a hall with a beautiful full bathroom.
For babies/toddlers/kids: A pack-n-play for a baby is available on request. We also have a high chair, indoor and outdoor toys, books, and other appropriate items available on request.
Please note that this is our primary residence for our family. While the home is perfectly clean and well-maintained, it is âlived inâ and will not have a hotel feel (example: photos on the walls, not all drawers/cabinets/closets are empty, etc.).
Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire house, with the exception of the home office (not a bedroom).

We are a family of four who have lived here in Larkspur for eight years. We are local business owners, and we are lucky enough to be able to work remotely each summer so we can travel the world. We open our home during our travels so that others can experience the magic of living in the Redwoods while enjoying all the comforts of home.
Voici pourquoi lâhĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement
Our home is located in the middle of a beautiful Coastal Redwood forest, in the magical Madrone Canyon. Steps from local hiking trails, the home has multiple decks, a gorgeous garden with a creek running through the backyard, and backs up to open space. A 15-20 minute (mostly flat) walk will have you in charming downtown Larkspur, where you can enjoy wonderful restaurants and shops. There is also a playground on the way! All this, and you're ten miles from San Francisco and 20 miles from Sonoma's wine country.
The home is owned by an avid cook and baker, so the gourmet kitchen is very well appointed. The kids are 10 and 8, and we also have younger nieces and nephews locally, so the house has lots of toys and books for all ages, including a trampoline (to be used at your own risk).
