This location is exceptional. We enjoy the water views from throughout the house. There are several outdoor spaces to enjoy. Our favorites include the dock and decking by the water for fishing and the fire pit for time to gather. It is such a nice space and was very comfortable for our multigenerational group of four. Check in and out is easy too!

It was a home away from home. The entire place from inside to outside spaces were clean and maintained. A very relaxing environment with plenty views. From coffee on the deck watching the sun rise to relaxing on the porch watching the sun set it and finish it off gazing at the stars or making s’mores by the fire. Definitely a place to return to and stay again.

Love the location right next to the boat ramp and store. Place was in excellent condition and has a huge lot for parking. Definitely planning on staying again

Best spot on the lake!

We had an absolute blast at this house! It is so beautifully renovated and so well stocked with all kinds of supplies. We had a great view for fireworks on the 4th! Will definitely stay again soon!

Amazing views from every window. Great sunsets from inside or out and from any of the docks/decks. A rare experience for a frequent traveler .

Amazing weekend at an amazing property

The description of the house was perfect! The lake views were incredible. We fished, sat around the fire, played games, and made s’mores. It was a perfectly relaxing weekend. With 2 boys at FSU, I can only hope a visit back to this property is in our future.

About as perfect as possible

Such a beautiful location with views from every window. The house is tastefully decorated and all the amenities you could need. I only wish they had kayaks. Mellisa, the property manager, was helpful, communicated well and accessible. Just don’t book it when we want to return!

This property has absolutely everything you could want and more. This was our second stay and we will be back again for sure. Only about a 40 minute drive from Florida State University, it’s a great place to stay if visiting a student. The lake is beautiful and because it’s a peninsula, you can see the sunrise and the sunset.Make sure you bring your bug spray, but they have that there too if you forget. It’s definitely an all natural property so there are lots of little bugs around, but that is to be expected. The fire pit is perfect in the evening and we enjoyed that there was some wood provided for us. They have a charcoal grill if you want to cook out and the Walmart is in Quincy or you can even have food delivered from the store if you have Walmart Perfect place for stargazing too

Perfect getaway

We found this place when looking for a place to stay when my son graduated from FSU. The hotel prices were outrageous and I am so glad we booked Lakepointe. What a wonderful place to stay and create family memories! The property was exactly as described and the host was very responsive. The house was very clean and had every amenity you could think of. The views are unmatched! We enjoyed all of it! The fire pit, the fishing from the dock, grilling and just hanging out enjoying the views and family in the little house area. We will definitely be repeat customers!

Exceptional

This was the best home we have ever rented. It was beautiful, clean and we had more than we expected. A lot of kitchen supplies, bathroom supplies and a wonderful coffee bar. The grounds were beautiful. The view was great! This stay was such a delight. I would suggest a stay there even if you don’t fish. It is a piece of heaven to relax in.

Beautiful Lake Property

Beautiful house, spotlessly clean. Gorgeous property with both sunrise and sunset views. Perfect set up for boats, kayaks, fishing and relaxing waterside and fireside. 👍👍👍 We had a wonderful weekend at the property. Hoping to return in the future. Melissa was the perfect host.

Amazing property

Our 5 family members stayed here while attending a funeral. Funerals are stressful but this place provided much needed peace and quiet. The house is beautiful. Very well decorated and every room is stocked with every need. The kitchen has new appliances and has everything you need. Outside is a 180 degree view of Lake Talquin so you can see the sunrise and sunset. This property is a real gem and I highly recommend it to anyone would needs a place to rest and relax.

Fishing, Fire pit, and Family

Exceptional! So grateful to have found this place! A bit far for visiting the local universities, but we thought it was well worth the drive for this quiet escape. With a split floor plan home and multiple outdoor gathering spots, this place was a wonderful spot for our party of 5. It was thoughtfully stocked with everything you could need at your fingertips. Fire pit, grill, views of the milk way, and the fish were biting! Melissa made the process easy with a straightforward check in and very few asks on checkout.

Family FSU Trip

Lake Point more than lived up to the pictures and other reviews. It was wonderful! The grounds and home are so pretty and welcoming. The house is equipped with everything you need for family meals, smores around the bonfire and fishing. Just a short distance to FSU so we got to tailgate and enjoy the FSU/Miami football game then back to the house for rest and relaxation. Can't say enough.....it was just amazing. We will definitely stay again. Thanks for being such a great host.

Peace and relaxation

This place is just stunning. So much yard surrounded by beautiful Lake Talquin. I should have brought a photographer with me because I couldn’t stop taking photos. And the house itself is beautiful too. nicely updated, fully equipped kitchen, living room perfect for family movie night, bedrooms and beds were great for our family of five. Owner is friendly, flexible, responsive. My only complaint is that I didn’t want to leave!!!! I will mention that it is a bit of a drive to Tallahassee so if you have lots of plans in town, take that into account. Otherwise, this place is perfection!

I love Lake Point

Our recent stay at this rental was an absolute gem. We were in town to pick up our son from FSU for a visit, and our long weekend was a perfect mix of fun and relaxation. The best part of this property? It's got to be the stunning lake view. Imagine waking up to gorgeous sunrises and winding down with breathtaking sunsets. The house itself was pretty awesome too – a nice mix of modern and cozy. It was super clean, and the owners had thought of everything. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the living room was perfect for chilling out with some entertainment and board game playing. All in all, our experience at Lake Point was fantastic. It gave us a private and peaceful escape, along with those amazing lake views; even the dog was happy with an acre of space to run around on. It was hard to leave such an amazing place and we're already looking forward to coming back. Thank you for making our visit with our son something special to remember.
