Great Stay with Room for Improvement

The place was overall quite nice -- comfortable beds, both kings, made for a restful nights and the location was great. Not too far of a walk from the beach. However, there were a few issues that took away form the experience. One of the bathrooms had a shower head that nearly falling off and spraying water onto the popcorn ceiling, which caused pieces to fall while I was showering. I managed to tighten it, and once it had dried out it was fine -- but definitely not ideal. Also, one of the bedrooms didn't appear to have been cleaned properly, and a bathroom was missing toilet paper. Despite these hiccups, I would stay here again. The core experience was good, but I hope the cleaning service pays closer attention to the details next time.

Not clean

It was a roof over our head close to the beach. It was not clean. Curly hairs in my shower, dirty microwave, rusted freezer, couch pillows reeked of body odor, dining chairs really wobbly, we were afraid to sit in them. Dishes had to be washed before use. Very strong sewege smell. The walk to the beach was close and the turtles were fun to watch in the lake outside the patio. No beach service included so you will have to pay 48 a day for 2 chairs and an umbrella, otherwise, you have to set up BEHIND the chairs if you just want to use traditional beach blankets.

Stay in the southbay

The place needs remodeling it was not clean a far as dirty was on the patio doors when u open it. Refrigerator was rusted in n outside. Couldn’t use the ice due to rust inside the freezer. Patio down stairs was rusted table. Over all would not rent in this section of Destin. I would stay in other rentals providing I could see the real pic of what to do expect. On leaving the entrance was flooded with water n had a bad smell. It’s was okay but not pleasing

Great stay!

Condo was clean, beds were exceptionally comfortable, location was great. Just a 3 min walk to the beach. All furniture and appliances were in good condition and functioned properly. We loved watching the turtle and ducks from our balconies. Restaurants, shopping, icecream all within walking distance. Our only complaint is that the upstairs (kitchen/living room) was a little stuffy and not as cool as downstairs (bedrooms). We would stay here again.

Super location

Great location in the heart of it all. Loved the smaller scale as we had more privacy on the beach than some of the mega complexes. House had everything we needed.

Destin Bayview- short walk to beach

Booking and check in smooth process. All codes for facility access were correct, emailed 24-48 hrs in advance. Only concern was the parking pass was emailed 24 hrs prior to arrival. We were on the road with no way to print. Beautiful white sand beach about 1 block walk thru the complex. We were lucky enough to see multiple dolphins swimming by while on the beach! Condo sq footage stated is correct, wide angle pictures look larger. The condo use is aparent. The kitchen window does not close. Upper level patio screen is torn, and does not stay on the track, so it is difficult to keep gnats/bugs out if glass door open. Wear and tear normal throughout. There was no patio table,only 4 chairs on upper level, none on lower level. Gazebo pictured is boarded up without access due to unsafe walkway. Photo should be removed. There are lots of turtles, fish and foul that are visible from the balconies. We enjoyed watching them.
