Enjoy this simple, sweet, private king bedroom, w attached private bath, microwave, mini fridge and french press. Private entrance. Luxurious king size McCroskey "cloud mattress. Safe, quiet residential neighborhood, with plenty of free parking close at hand. This is a self contained space in our home. Five blocks from tree lined Willamette River parks, and the bike/hike/jog path network that provides fun and easy access to UofO or downtown Eugene and the Marketplace, one mile to old town Springfield. Autzen 1.3 miles. 2 blocks from bus. Our cleaning and laundry products are free of toxins and synthetic fragrance, and appreciate you not using heavy fragrance during your stay. Cotton linens.

Singles, duos and family friendly. We can accommodate 3, if one is an infant or child and sleeping in the king size bed with you. However, we cannot host kids for free, we do charge for a third person, even if it is an infant or child. thank you.

If you are looking for more of a hotel experience, might be best to look at other listings...like we describe, your space is a separate space, but we live in the house too. You may hear us in other rooms, or come across us in the yard. We don't have to be your new best friends, but we do enjoy saying hello if we are around, and check in to see if you are comfortable, after that it's up to you to let us know if you need anything.

The property was clean, easy to access, private as described. Host was accommodating and quick to respond. If traveling for the Eugene marathon get a ride to River Valley Inn to use shuttle bus service to & from the race. Springfield is within easy driving distance (15 minutes) to the University of Oregon campus

The apartment is in a great location, minutes from the University of Oregon and Downtown Eugene. Carole was a great host. Check-in and check-out were easy and simple and the apartment was very clean and comfortable. There is no kitchen (as advertised and expected), but there is a breakfast area, with bowls, utensils, microwave and small refrigerator so making coffee, and eating take-home meals and leftovers is easy to do. There are many great restaurants and cafes within a few minutes drive, and Carole was very helpful with recommendations. For someone traveling alone as I was (or a couple) this was a perfect place to stay!

I was comfortable during my stay. I requested the heat be turned up a little and Carole was very accommodating. The room was secluded and quiet. Overall a very positive experience. I would stay there again.

A very nice stay

My husband and I had a nice, easy, and comfortable stay in this accommodation attached to the host’s home. We appreciated the beautiful front yard, little pathway to a separate entrance, and backyard sitting area. It fit our needs perfectly with a microwave, little refrigerator, and french press for coffee in the morning. Hosts were kind and gracious!

It’s a beautiful little master suite with a private entry from a lovely backyard. The hostess was attentive and kind. Our only complaint is we were quite warm and the air conditioning control was in the main house. We would recommend this property for others.

Great Location and Host

This is a private bedroom with a private bath and some outdoor space, all you need when visiting the beautiful area. It's a quick walk to the nice trails and the neighborhood was quiet and residential. Carole is the definition of a host, she's present and wants to help. We needed an iron for our clothes and she happily provided one. I highly recommend!

Great hosts, location and space!

My friend and I came down to watch a Track and Field meet at Hayward Stadium. We did not have a car so it was perfect for us to walk each day to the stadium along lovely trails. We were also able to walk to great dinner spots on Main St. Carole and Chuck were great hosts, very friendly and helpful. Carole was quick to respond to any questions I had prior to our arrival and gave us some great suggestions for dinner. I would highly recommend her space.

Spacious and pretty private space in a Lovely peaceful neighborhood, with easy access off the freeway( 5 minutes) as well as to U of O, Autzen stadium, the river paths and so many cultural and recreational options....

We have redesigned this clean and light filled separate space, with sliding doors to a small porch and lovely private back yard seating area, for your enjoyment. We are an easy walk down to the river, into old town Springfield, or over to Autzen and U of O campus. We try our best to anticipate your needs, and are amenable to special requests!
