The size of the house was wonderful for our group. Very spacious and comfortable. We found the property to be very clean and when an issue came up Kyle was quick to respond. We loved the peaceful setting of the house and found it to be a great central location for our needs while in Victoria. We would definitely stay there again!

Perfect spot

We stayed as a family for our daughter’s wedding nearby. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Kyle was easy to talk to and gave clear communication. We are looking for a reason to stay again another time.

Cute House in Victoria

Very cute house, we enjoyed our stay. The location was scenic between the house landscaping and the local lake. The hosts were communicative and helpful. Downtown Victoria and the Butchart Gardens were an easy drive.

Great Family stay

We stayed at this location as our younger Son was getting married. It was a fantastic location to the venue and had a great option for sleeping our older son and his family. Lots of room for everyone. The young family had their own wing of the house. My husband and I slept in the basement room and the groom got the pull out sofa in the family room. Would recommend this home for any stay in the area.

Size of house for my parents and two sisters was perfect. Had everything we needed and more. It does have a few different levels divided by a couple of stairs here and there which may not be great if you have toddlers or folks with mobility issues. But it was great for us and visiting family and friends from the area for a family wedding. Owners were terrific!

Peace and Quiet and Lovely

What a lovely place to spend a few days! We had four people in this spacious house that easily accommodated all of us. It is a few minutes from Victoria proper, but the beautiful surroundings and quiet location made it seem like the perfect place to kick back and enjoy ourselves. It also had the advantage of being half-way between Victoria and Butchart Gardens.

Beautiful Stay

Accommodation was perfect for our group of 7. Plenty of space in the newly renovated house on a beautiful property. Private location with a tree lined driveway makes for a quiet getaway. Being close to the lake was a bonus. Easy access to the hwy to get us to our other destinations made our stay very convenient. Host was very responsive to all my questions.

Clean but Sparse

The property itself was easy to find and in a good location. It was very clean upon check-in. There was a ton of space that could have been better utilized with king-size beds or additional furniture that would have made it a little more comfortable and functional.

Thanks for your feedback Kerry. The house is fully furnished with 3 queen beds, and a double pull out. Because of the height of the hallways, it made more sense to equip the house with queens (which is also typical in hotel settings as well). As for the furniture, the living room has a large sofa and a love seat, and the kitchen has a table with seating for 6 (and with additional chairs for larger groups). I would agree we could add another small couch or sitting chair in the living rooms, so we appreciate your feedback there. Glad you enjoyed your stay and found it to be spacious, clean and enjoyed the location!

Peaceful, private, perfect

Park like setting yet close to everything. Clean, spacious. Kyle was great. He fixed a shower rod and showed me how to work the TV so we could watch the Oscars. We will definitely be back.

Christmas Family Get Together

We met for a family gathering in Victoria. Location of this house was great: 5 minutes from one house and 10 minutes from the other that we were visiting. Property was as described and nice and roomy. Well equipped and host very responsive. Only drawback was the noise level in the basement when others were moving around on main floor. Overall we would book this home again.

Because the house is not equipped with concrete floors in between the levels, there will be some noise between the floors if someone is loud or walking around (as is the case with wood framed houses).
