Your family will be close to everything when you stay in this centrally located home. This house has a 2 bedroom one of which is open between the kitchen and the living room with no doors ,the second bedroom is next to the bathroom with a door for more privacy .

Stay is accurate for the price. You get what you pay for. My only complaint was the strong odor of marijuana throughout the house when marketed as smoke-free. Would not suggest if you have asthma to stay here. The host communicated and partially refunded with the odor. Couldn’t beat the location at that price.

Great place for our family of 5 to stay to visit family for the holidays. Appreciate the pack and play and very few decor with a toddler.

This is an older house, there is a soft spot in the floor outside the bathroom that can catch your feet if you’re not careful. The rooms were clean and we had what we needed. There are small areas that weren’t clean but I can tell the owner has done a lot of work to update and make the house cozy. We enjoyed our stay! My only complaint is that the listing states there is a parking spot, however it’s street parking and we did have people take the spot in front of the house so we had to find other parking. Overall a good place for the price!

The home is not really as described. There is no second locks on the doors so anyone with a code can walk in. As a guest a simple lock on the inside goes a long way. The home was not clean, it was worn down, needs repair, broken window, broken AC in windows so not sealed. Can go on and on. I will not stay here and do not recommend it.
Floors were terrible, tore socks, were constantly moving and breaking
Dishes were dirty. Stove was dirty. I personally scrubbed and it looked 80% better at check out

Cabinets were dirty , have pics of snot on the bathroom wall just can’t add more photos.

The pictures do not accurately depict the condition of the home. I didn’t feel comfortable having my children stay here, so I decided to rent somewhere else to stay instead. There were spiders and ants in the corners of the bathroom, second bedroom, and by the front door. The baseboards and floors had chipped paint, which was a huge safety concern for kids ingesting. There was a funky smell like moisture and cigarette smoke. Neighborhood was not desirable as well. Will never book from this app again since I felt so mislead by the property photos. What a waste of money!

Our stay was as expected. This place is small and it is obvious the owners have put time and resources in to it as far as upgrades. The reviews were accurate, for the most part...the floor does have some soft spots; the neighborhood is quiet; the house is conveniently located, etc. Check in was easy, as was check out. We would stay there again!

The house is older and definitely not fancy; however, it was within 5-15 minutes of everywhere we wanted to visit. It's extremely close to The Hill, where you can find amazing food as well as to the Science Center and the zoo. Perfect location. It fit our needs as a family of 5 well. I would stay again.

Location was great but this is definitely a “no frills” property. Linens & bedding need updating, especially the pillows. They were flat and yellow stained, one was even ripped with the stuffing coming out. The floors are sinking & water came in the back bedroom with heavy rains. An older home with issues is understandable, but adding extra touches like nicer, newer bedding and enough matching towels & wash cloths for all guests would really help enhance the property. Neighborhood is old but felt safe and was quiet. We were less than 20 minutes from everything we wanted to do. Host was quick to respond when asked about anything. Overall, you get what you pay for and it was reasonably priced.

perfect location, great "home base"

We stayed three nights at this location and were grateful to have a "home base" to work out of as we toured St. Louis. We were close to everything we wanted to experience and had easy access to the highways. The house is older, so it has older home qualities, but it is well cared for, modernly decorated, and has most of the amenities we needed. Communication with the host was minimal, but she responded to each inquiry. I highly recommend this house for your St. Louis vacation.

This was my second time staying on this property. Close to all the activities we wanted to do. Quiet neighborhood. Just a few wear and tear things that could be fixed up but nothing major. We will stay again!

House in need of repair

We were booked for a 2 night stay. We left the property after one night and had to move to a hotel. The floor was mushy and smelled of sewage outside of the bathroom. There were live earth worms that had entered through the door leading outside in the 2nd bedroom. I reviewed the comments prior to booking and they were obviously misleading.
