This clean and stylish apartment in centrally located in the heart of the medical district. Close to Chicago's prestige hospitals. Also 5 mins away from the United center and 12 mins from downtown Chicago. Grant park is 9 mins away, soldier field is 10 mins away. Public transportation is easily accessible. This apartment and is very modern and equipped with many amenities. Comfortable and cozy.

Property was double booked

We arrived and the key was not in the lockbox. Another tenant in the building got us past the initial gate. When we got into the actual apartment, there was another person’s belongings. We were crunched for time and unable to reach Dominique. We ended up re-booking at another hotel.

Talk about a great host

This was an amazing experience, the host was wonderful and most helpful with anything we threw at them and that made our trip just to focus on what we were there for. The L metro has elevator in case you need it. walking to and from the metro always felt safe. I would definitely book them again in future visits.

Nice apartment!

The apartment was updated and very clean. Being located super close to the United Center and downtown was very convenient for all of our travel plans! Would stay here again.

Clean and convenient urban apartment near metro

Apartment was clean and attractive. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had all basic supplies, there was a washer and dryer, good AC. It is a basement apartment, but outdoor light comes in. It is an urban setting without nearby food options, but the metro is two blocks away, which is very convenient, and I had no qualms about the walk to and from the station. Had a little trouble figuring out the key to the front gate, but the manager was instantly responsive. A very good value.

A Diamond in the Rough

Overall, a nice place! But some things could use attention. We had been searching for a decently priced place to stay near the UC. This place checked those boxes. However, it’s good to note the neighborhood is not the best. So public transportation might not be the ideal choice although it is located nearby. There is a front and back door to the unit- we did not know this from the listing. The back door from the inside has a deadbolt, but didn’t lock properly. The doorknob lock worked, but not the most trustworthy in a sketchy area. We also had the same water issue as another reviewer previously mentioned. We messaged the property manager, it was resolved by using a shop vac to soak up the water in the back bedroom and through the hallway. They were very friendly and pretty quick to act; however, after the landlord left, it continued to rain so more water appeared. We luckily weren’t using the back bedroom. We were told when there is rain or the ground water is high the sump pump can’t keep up, therefore the water occurs. We also noticed ants throughout the unit. The A/C was noisy. The supplies left for guests were minimal. No fan, No body wash, no ‘welcome’ snacks or coffee, only 4 bath towels. The master bed is stiff and only has 1 pillow per person to sleep on- Master has no door lock, and sliding door doesn’t fully close. Overall, it was minimalistic but clean and fit mine and my fiancé’s needs, but may not for others. Some improvements would make this a 5-star bnb.

The unit was beautiful and had everything we needed. The manager was very responsive.

The Saturday of our stay, Chicago had torrential rain and flooding. We got water in the unit and in less than an hour, the landlord was there to clean it all up. He kept checking throughout the day to make sure everything was staying dry. We appreciated it! The only thing I would say is that the area was transitional and we would not walk anywhere.

The unit is updated. It was clean and walking distsnce to Greenline. Walking distance to the grocery store. The neighborhood is upand coming. Street parking no permit needed.

Close to subway, very clean

Everything was very clean and the place was updated. We had everything we needed and the host was very responsive when I had a question. The location was just a few blocks from the green line and only a few stops from the loop where you can get on other trains to go anywhere in the city. We didn't explore the neighborhood enough to know if there were shops and restaurants nearby. All in all, a great stay!

Such a great and clean property. Super close to the trains so travel is easy and location is around some amazing restaurants as well! Highly recommend!

Accurate listing but unsafe location

Photos were spot on. Place is very clean, and very nice. Host had excellent communication. Unfortunately with being from out of town, I had no idea what sort of an area it was. We did not feel safe and were even warned by neighbors not to go out at night. We ended up making other arrangements.

Very comfortable stay

It was a great stay for me the host was very understanding, I am late with my review but I enjoyed the stay and the host for giving a extra day as well as everything I requested. I would definitely stay again. It was also a very clean and modern stay. You have to give the lock on the gate a little fight to unlock but as far as that there was no issue getting into the unit. If you want a clean relaxed and very comfortable stay this is the right stay. The beds where comfortable and the couch as well. A+ in my book.
