We really enjoyed staying here, it’s the perfect place to stay if you’re visiting Orem. The host was kind and accommodating, the apartment was clean and comfortable. Highly recommended!

The pictures are accurate. It is a peaceful, calm place. The basement has light from the windows as shown. The bedding and furniture are all accurate and provide a welcoming and comfortable setting for short or long turn stays! You can hear small children at times but the host is very upfront about this and it didn't bother me at all.Additionally, the hosts are friendly and helpful, prompt with questions, cookies, offers to assist in transportation. It couldn't be better! The location is near a beautiful walking park that connects to the Orem Rec Center where you can swim, exercise, even get childcare if you need it. There is a busline on the other side of the rec center that can take you to the front runner, give you access to BYU or Utah Valley College. Target is a 15-20 minute walk away. A car would be handy but I still was able to make it work with walking and public transportation.

Basic and clean

Hosts are friendly and live onsite. Some noise from the living above. The place was a bit run down and did not have a toaster or blow dryer. Perfectly fine and good location!

Two night stay with a friend

Myself and a friend stayed in the basement suite, we booked fairly last minute so not many options. I booked for 3 people but ended up only 2 of us staying. Description said whole basement for 4 people. In my hurry to get something booked I didn’t check through the added costs. What was posted as a 69/night stay ended up being substantially more. I understand VRBO fees but under host fees I was charged an additional 180 for extra people. Not sure where the extra people came from considering we had two people and listing was for 4. And even then why so much. When I question the host he said it was an automatic fee from vrbo which is not true. The “host fees” are set by the host. With the additional vrbo fee plus the cleaning fee our stay ended up quite pricy for a place that is fairly run down. Bad stains on the shower curtain and unfinished trim. The second bedroom was not a bedroom at all considering there was no door and it was open to the living space. I was expecting that at 69/night but not at the price I was charged in the end. I could have gotten a two bedroom hotel with a kitchen for less. We also expected some noise but were woken up by kids running around yelling and adults upstairs preparing breakfast at 6:30 am on a Saturday which was frustrating. The next morning was fine so not sure why the early morning that day. My recommendation is to look carefully at the added fees because unfortunately some hosts will sneak them in.

Great base in Orem

Stayed at this property for 3 weeks as working nearby. The apartment is exactly as described. There is some noise from the tenants above (as stated in the descripton) but this was really only footsteps & it was generally very quiet after about 6pm.Well appointed with everything you need. The bed was very comfortable & having a Smart TV was really appreciated.The location is stunning, with mountains & lakes all within a short drive. I even managed a short weekend trip to Las Vegas so there really is plenty to do.Host communcation was always very prompt & friendly.I would not hesitate to stay here again if I need to visit the area.

Beautiful View

Hosts were very gracious and provided a fan at my request. Being a basement apartment, I did hear movement in their home but it didn't bother me....though it might some. My only small thing was no wifi for phone or television. The free channels buffered a lot. I am not used to basement living, so that might be the situation. Hosts were VERY friendly and offered to help me with anything I needed. My stay was very pleasant; this was my 1st solo trip as a widow; I usually travel with family. The rate I paid was a Great Value and I will use Vrbo again for sure.
