This is newly complete upgrade house. new kitchen, bathrooms, furnitures. It is a perfect place for your family while traveling to San Jose. The house has very large master bedroom, dining room and family room. Note: This is one of the unit in a duplex. We share back yard with other unit in the back.

Because we travel with pets, yards are important. The yard photos were different than actual yard. A part of fence was broken and there was access to a do neighbors dog. Also, apparently as we learned there had been a big Halloween party the day before our arrival. There was chocolate and other candy on the grounds as well as cigarette butts. Had to do lots of clean up quickly. Inside carpet was a bit dirty. Had old gum on it.The house was very nice other than this. Very big and spacious. And basically clean.

The only complaint we have is that the neighborhood is quite noisy! Lots of loud mufflers.

Nice stay

We needed a place to stay since we were going to a concert at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara. Plenty of space for us three adults and we each got our own rooms. It was quiet. It was quick to a local breakfast place nearby.

It was advertised that it could sleep 8. Only one king bed and two queen beds in the three-bedroom house. We were only there overnight, and it wasn't until morning that we found the 4th bed, an inflatable bed, which was still packaged up in the locked laundry room (I did have the code). One of our four ended up sleeping on the couch. Even with three beds and a blow-up bed, it stretches the imagination to think you would expect to sleep eight people. I just assumed the couch had a hide-a-bed, and that was a bad assumption.

Needs more work.

Property had good space for six adults. Open concept was nice. It appeared to have been remodeled not so long ago. Parking was adequate with a driveway for a couple of cars and not on the street where numerous other vehicles were parked on both sides of the street. Area is primarily Latino. We had no problems with neighbors. Amenities were very good with exception of no ironing board or face towels. Not so good was cleanliness. Second bathroom smelled like urine. It did not help that there were roach traps throughout the home. We decided to clean the house ourselves just to make certain everything was sanitized. Master bedroom bed makes lots of noise getting in and out. The extra deck space was outside of the fence off the back patio. There was what looked like two pellet holes in the back patio bedroom window. There was a filthy sofa also on the patio as well as an ice cream serving station. For some reason all the windows were left unlocked. The dish washer leaked. The front yard needed attention with weeds and more landscaping. Not enough pictures to view the property; inside and outside. Our host was very responsive when contacted. We have been booking VRBO properties for decades. Overall we did enjoy our stay.

Sketchy neighborhood

Upgraded home in really sketchy neighborhood. Moldy grounds in coffee pot. All bedroom windows unlocked. Bathroom floor grout grimy. No plug for tub. Oven knob missing. Ice dispenser didn’t work. Master tv would not turn on. Creepy guy looking in master window. Wouldn’t stay again.

Clean, well stocked, easy freeway access, BUT....

The bed in the master bedroom was terrible. My parents slept in that bed and they said it was super uncomfortable. The neighborhood was quiet, but seemed a little shady. We are not familiar with the neighborhood, but based on the houses, it seemed like it could be a little less than ideal of a neighborhood. The house was very comfortable otherwise. Very spacious and big enough for the 6 of us and puppy. It was very clean and very well kept.

Amazing Property

Such a beautiful house! Responsive host and ver close to downtown San Jose. Would love to stay there again some time! You won't regret staying here!

We did not end up staying

The host was very responsive prior to stay but gave is checkin info on wrong date two days prior. Unfortunately we did not get in until later around 8pm we could not find the house no visible signs nothing looked like the photo and we were not happy with the neighborhood with 4 sketchy guys standing outside we literally turned around and made the drive 2 hours home. I did message host and informed them we did not stay and asked tm for a refund. Very disappointed felt like the photos and descriptions were misleading. Please let me know if there is anything that can be done. Thank you! I would like to speak with someone.

Our Stay

Everything was fine except the problem with the lock on the master bedroom. Also there were four lights in the master bedroom that did not work.
