Summary:

Welcome to our beautiful fully renovated San Marco home.



This lovely 3 BR / 2 BA, newly renovated home welcomes you with its large wrap-around-porch. Enter the spacious foyer and enjoy the well-appointed contemporary design throughout the house.



Enjoy all the comforts of your own home right at your fingertips. This residence is perfect for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families.



Guests will enjoy the entire house. The outside space is shared with a long term tenant that occupies an apartment on the side of right side of the house.



This home is only a few steps away from adorable San Marco Square - filled with restaurants, bars, and boutiques!



The Space:

The home has a fully equipped bright and spacious kitchen with all new appliances. In addition to the main living room, enjoy additional areas to read or relax with a book from the owner’s collection. Walk outside the living room French doors into a private backyard with plenty of seating, a dining area, firepit and gas grill or relax on our swing on the quaint front porch.



Please do keep in mind that property owner's family lives on site in the adjacent 1 BR apartment.



Guest Access:

You’ll enjoy exclusive access to the entire main home, including all living spaces, bedrooms, and outdoor areas. There is a separate studio attached to the property with a private entrance located to the right of the main door. The studio is occupied by a long-term tenant and is not part of the rental.



The Neighborhood:

This property is in a perfect location. Just one block to several dining options, including a café, a new trendy Spanish Tapas restaurant, and a local brewery. Walk a few blocks in the other direction to enjoy the best sunset on the River.



Walk just ten minutes to Historic San Marco Square, where you can find galleries, restaurants, and boutiques. As our guest, you will enjoy a free glass of wine at Town Hall, a James Beard nominated chef restaurant.



It is also blocks from the MD Anderson Cancer Center for "medical tourists" coming to Jax for treatment here. It is a 10 min drive to the UF Health Proton Therapy Center and a 20 min drive to the Mayo Clinic!



Getting Around:

Unless you are looking to stick around the San Marco area it is generally a good idea to rent a car. Ride sharing services are also a good option but public transportation in Jax is generally lacking.

To help ensure a smooth, secure, and enjoyable stay for all guests, please review the following important information before booking:



Check-In & Identity Verification Policy



All reservations require the primary guest (the booker) to complete a secure online check-in process prior to arrival. This includes:



-Uploading a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID

-Uploading a selfie to confirm identity

-Reviewing and signing our rental agreement



This process is similar to hotel check-in and is required because we do not typically have staff on site. Check-in instructions will only be provided once this process is complete.



If you would like to review the rental agreement before booking, please feel free to contact us.



In some cases, we may also request a security deposit and/or apply a damage waiver fee in accordance with booking channel policies.



Guest Count & Occupancy Policy



Each listing includes a maximum number of guests based on unit type and local regulations. Additional guests are welcome for an added nightly fee:



-2 & 3 bedroom units: $35 per guest, per night after 4 or 6 guests, respectively



Please ensure your guest count is entered accurately at booking. We will confirm the number of guests after reservation. If the guest count changes, pricing may be adjusted accordingly. For safety and compliance purposes, exterior security cameras are used to verify occupancy. Unreported additional guests may result in additional charges.



Pet Policy



This is a pet-friendly property. While our cleaning team is thorough, guests with severe pet allergies should be aware that dogs or cats may have stayed in the space previously.



Pet fees:



-$50 per night, per pet

-$250 per week, per pet

-$500 per month, per pet



Pet fees are not included in the accommodation rate and will be requested after booking once the number of pets is confirmed.



Local Reservation Policy



Reservations under 7 nights from guests residing in the local area may be subject to cancellation at our discretion. We handle exceptions on a case-by-case basis.



Early Check-In & Late Check-Out Policy



Early arrivals and late departures are not guaranteed and must be approved in advance. If approved, the following fees apply:



-Up to 1 hour: $100

-1–2 hours: $200

-2–3 hours: $300

-3+ hours: $400 or the cost of an additional night (whichever is greater)



Please do not assume availability without confirmation.



Smoking Policy



Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property, including indoor and outdoor areas. If evidence of smoking is found, an additional cleaning fee of $500 will be applied in accordance with the booking channel's cleaning and damage policies.



Special Request Policy



Requests for items such as pack-n-plays, high chairs, or other non-standard amenities should be submitted at least 7 days before check-in to ensure availability. Requests made closer to arrival will be accommodated if possible but cannot be guaranteed.

Great Location to San Marco

Location was perfect. Family from out of state came into town to celebrate a Milestone Birthday. Property interior was very clean. The porch, and outdoor area including the grill were Very dirty. The weather was terrific and we wished we could have used the seating area outside and on the porch. But he cushions are just filthy. Host should consider buying covers to protect the cushions. The AC was working great and we had NO issues. We were quite comfortable. The only knock on this home is the fact there is NO bathroom on the first floor. And the Second Bath sink is the smallest sink I have ever seen. Almost unusable. Reminded me of a ships sink. I recommend removing the shelf right above the sink so you can at least brush your teeth there. I had to use the kitchen sink to brush my teeth. Beds were comfortable. I think the host should at least provide coffee filters. Let your guests buy their own ground coffee. It may not bother some guests, but the nightly trains that pass by only a block away are Loud. I am not use to that and was awaken by the train horns throughout the night. Over all the home met our needs and I would certainly return should we need additional bedrooms for the next family function in San Marco.

We were only there for a short stay for a concert. The property was exactly as expected we could walk to food and it was a quick drive to the stadium for a concert

Great, but AC not so much!

Great location and amenities; however, the air conditioning went out on us twice. Maintenance came right away at 10pm to fix it, but it went out again the next day which was very inconvenient.

Disappointing

We were looking forward to our stay in the farmhouse. In the photos the property looked almost new and the location was so close to MDAnderson Cancer where my sister was having her chemo treatment. Unfortunately when we arrived at the property the front door lock did not work, and there was no internet on the 2nd floor. The next day we noticed the thermostat on 1st floor registered 77 and didn’t budge. We notified owner immediately and he said property mngr could stop by 10 that evening. Unfortunately she did not show until 10:30 the next morning. She was not able to resolve thermostat or internet issue. So an HVAC tech was contacted and showed at 7pm last evening (3hours late). He fixed thermostat however a noise then appeared in the outside condenser and then the 2nd floor condenser went on the fritz registering 77. Not exactly good for sleeping. We left this morning sadly disappointed The property has potential however before that happens someone needs to fix/resolve several issues. P.S. Oh and by the way the internet was still not fixed before we left.
