The Daisy House is a one bedroom and one bath home located downtown Cedar Key on famous First Street. The Gulf is the next thing you come to after First Street. You will be in the heart of it all at the Daisy House. Walk across the Dock Street Bridge to find at least six of Cedar Keyâs finest waterfront restaurants, gift shops, golf cart rentals and an art co-op store. Plus, here you'll visit and fish from the Big Dock Cedar Key Fishing Pier. All this is less than one minute walk from the Daisy House.
Around the corner from the Daisy House is the 1842 Coffee Shop, Tonyâs Famous Seafood, 2nd Street Cafe and more art stores. Just down the street (2 minute walk) is the City park with a small local beach, outdoor showers, large playground, pavilions and grills perfect for seaside cook outs. You can also rent kayaks here for a grand Cedar Key experience. You are also a short walk to the Cedar Key Market, a full-service store selling all groceries including meat, vegetables, beer and wine.
We do not allow smoking or pets at the Daisy House.
Daisy is on the first level and is a one bedroom one bath unit. It has comfortable Queen-sized memory foam mattress, a bathroom with tub/shower combo and living room with two comfortable chairs, ottomans, Direct TV and WiFi internet. There is also small kitchenette and eating bar with stools, small fridge, microwave, sink, toaster and Keurig coffee maker. Down the hall is a washer and dryer. We have central heat and air. The space comfortably accommodates two guests.
The private balcony overlooks First Street and from the elevated position you can watch the Cedar Key world pass by.
The Daisy House is an elevated building with cement parking underneath connected to a covered stairway, convenient for rainy Florida downpours. This area is a shared space and there is room for a couple of cars here. You can exit by driving through the back but take care, itâs narrow and can be a little difficult to traverse.
Access to home requires guests to climb a flight of exterior stairs, but once inside the home is single level.
-Please be respectful of the neighbors and the area you are staying
-Do not trespass on other people's property, this includes docks and driveways
-Please be careful where you park, don't block people in, use neighbors property, park on the sidewalk or impede traffic
-Parties and/or events are not allowed
-No smoking inside or within 10 feet of doors or windows $250 fine if the property smells of smoke
-Unauthorized pets will result in a $250 fine for each animal
-$150/person/day fee for over occupancy limit
-Please donât eat or drink anything besides water in the bedroom
-Quiet hours 10 pm to 7 am per local Noise Ordinance
-Please respect the check-in and check-out times. $500 for each 4 hours, or portion unauthorized thereof, of early check-in and late checkout.
-Guests are responsible for any damage they cause. If something does happen contact us ASAP and we will see if thereâs a way to quickly take care of the issue before it gets worse and costs more.
-Please donât rearrange the furniture.
-Please do your dishes.
-No illegal substances allowed on premises.
- Primary renter must be at least 25 years old or active military.
- ESA and service animals require documentation and adherence to our policies.
- Do not set the AC below 72° or heat above 78°.
- If there are kayaks or bikes included in the rental, use these responsibly, following all Florida regulations. Not all units under management include kayaks or bikes, please reference the listing to see included amenities. You confirm you are trained in the use of kayaks and bicycles. You are responsible for any damages or injuries resulting from their use.
