Blue Beach Bungalow

The stay was comfortable and made us feel at home. We were in Gulfport for a family reunion and the location of the Bungalow was prime.

Snowbird getaway

The house was just what we wanted for a long getaway from the cold North. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants and many local scenes. The host responded quickly to a few minor issues.Driving took me a few trips to get oriented with the location, but easy access to the main throughfares along and away from the Gulf.We had a couple of family visits during our 6 weeks stay and they too thought the location was convenient.

Blue Beach Bungalow

House overall was nice. Yard wasn’t mowed so we couldn’t enjoy being outside. A/C was locked at 72. Living area and front bedroom stayed cool but from there back the house was hot. Advertisement showed beach sunsets, which cannot be seen from the house.

Awesome!

This house was perfect for our long weekend with the kids! The games in the house kept everyone entertained in between outings. Very clean and well stocked. Very short drive to a beach area with parking, restrooms, and a volleyball net. Host was responsive and helpful.

Comfortable home in a walkable neighborhood.

This home was a great place to relax while exploring a new town. We enjoyed running down to the park and exploring the downtown area. The park had a great Path for running, and it was fun to watch the boats. For active people who like to spend time walking and exploring, this was perfect. We were able to walk to a cupcake shop, a restaurant, a coffee shop, and a craft beer location. My dog enjoyed the yard! Very responsive host even on Thanksgiving. Geocaching in area. Would definitely stay again.

Great spot for Cruising the Coast

Lovely and convenient. Only issue was having to wait until day of arrival for check in information. Travel days are not the best communication days with sometimes limited internet access.

The Blue House

It was a nice house on the inside very roomy and a super nice kitchen and dining area. We were a bit disappointed with the “game room” area. Also we didn’t get to use the hot tub bc it kept throwing the breaker. Contacted the owners and they sent someone to fix it.

Nice Long Weekend

Hubby is on Keesler base for a month for a class. Our host graciously offered a discount for our service. Our youngest daughter and I came down to visit as it was the weekend of our 26th anniversary! House was perfect for our small group and short trip. Master bath not too spacious but works. Would recommend.

CTC get away

The House was good, however the small shower bath requires some changes needs shelving behind the toilet for necessary personal items, and the shower did not have working hot water. Everything else about the house was great. We were disappointed that the only parking was along the street in the grass. We had 3 classic cars and would have liked for them to be inside the fence on a paved pad. A/C went down one day, but the host was quick to get it repaired and working by the next afternoon.

Wonderful Stay!

House was beautiful just as pictured!!! Enough space for our party of five. My dad loved the pac man machine!! Even though the house is older, renovations are excellent!!!! Older neighborhood but quiet!!! We come to Biloxi often for dance competitions and even though this house is in Gulfport, it is in a perfect location to get to the restaurants and convention center on Beach Blvd. Short 10 min drive. Makeup towels were a perfect touch for this dance family!!! Also, checked out at 11 but was still in the area and we realized that we had left jackets. Host answered me quickly and let me go back in and grab them before the next guest arrive. Would definitely stay again when we come back!!!

Check-in was less than ideal but I blame that on booking through Orbitz and then information being passed through the VRBO app. I wasn't able to get the check-in instructions/password through either app or previous emails I received so I had to message the host for those details. It was above average temps while we were there and the A/C unit was unable to keep the home cool even overnight when temps dropped outside. The front bedroom does not have a ceiling fan so we had to buy a floor fan to sleep through the night. My girls complained the middle guest bedroom smelled of urine. When I inspected it was clear the sheets were not washed by the cleaners. I removed the sheets and mattress cover which both smelled of urine to wash them, however, even after washing the room still smelled. I am assuming the previous guest had a child that wet the bed and the urine soaked through down to the mattress. The bathroom mats need to be washed or vacuumed since there was hair from past guests. There were no other cleanliness concerns with the rest of the property. The location is great! My daughter and I enjoyed walking around the neighbor and checking out the different style homes. There is a cute coffee shop within walking distance that had great coffee and breakfast items. The distance to the beach, restaurants, aquarium was perfect for our needs. It is a pretty busy street so there is a decent amount of traffic and light noise.
