Great location to Peak 9 lifts

My teenager son and I stayed here for 3 nights to ski Breck. Location to lift 9 and walking to town were perfect and came in handy. We didn't use much of the facilities or kitchen items as we were gone all day and ate out. Excellent place.

The condo was dated, especially the kitchen, but it was clean and comfortable. You should probably replace the toaster. The lobby area was under construction during our stay. One morning, we left at 4:45 and found the lobby was blocked off with no signs on how to get out to the parking lot. We ended up exiting through the back end of the property in complete darkness with no idea that we were going in the right direction. The place was functional, comfortable, and in a great location. It was a price performer and we would stay there again. Thank you.

Small but great location

Overall a nice condo- not fancy but fine. The location is hard to beat- probably 100 yds to the lift and ski school drop off area. Also close to some restaurants. A closet in the bedroom would have been nice but we managed without one. It also would have been nice to have a table and chairs to have meals/play cards instead there is only a bar to sit at. The hot tub and ski/snowboard storage were very convenient.

Great location! Check in/out was easy, location is perfect.

Everything was how I would hope. Small minor issue is bedroom door doesn’t lock, have the option of using a door wedge. That is the only negative of the condo.

Our room was fine and in a great location but upon our arrival we were unable to access our room through the main entrance due to construction. we called great western and the person on the phone was not helpful and in fact told us there was ofte n poor communication between owners and great western. we finally found access in the rear of the building and had to bring out luggage up stairs. two days later our entrance code quit working and we were locked out of the building and our room. we called great western and again the people on the phone were not helpful - telling us they were unsure when we would get help or if there were maintenance people on call. maintenance did resolve our problem and were very nice and helpful. the biggest issue is that the people answering the phone are uninformed and add rather than reduce frustration. great western did refund a portion of our fees.

Hi Rob--I'm so sorry you had such a difficult time during your stay. While we can't always control building issues and when HOAs decide to do their work, we can always control how we respond. When we weren't able to correct the situation in real time, I'm glad we were able to offer you financial compensation. I've tried to audit the calls you mentioned and I don't see anywhere that our team was uniformed. So I apologize it came across that way. I hope you'll stay with us again and give us another chance to demonstrate our hospitality.

Left a day early-needs updating and Hot tubs were broken

1. Both Hot Tubs not working. Mgmt told me to walk across the street after I had to prove to them they were empty or closed. 2. Mismatched everything. Old furniture, blankets were disgusting, outdated. 3. Email said got to property, but got there and had to call to find out that you had to go to mgmt office on other side of town. 4. Mgmt office was clueless and argued with me that hot tubs were not open. Very unprofessional. 5. No TV in bedroom Not worth the price.

We apologize for the issues you encountered. The HOA controls the operations of the hot tubs, and at the time of your stay one was closed for maintenance, and the outdoor one remained opened. The Upper Village across the street does shut down seasonally after Labor day. We will look into the rest of the issues you've described. Thank you.

Great location to village and ski in/out!

My husband and I stayed here and had a great time! Location at base of peak 9 was awesome, walking out the back door to the lift. Skiing here was seamless! And we loved the proximity to the village....2 blocks and you were in the excitement of the village. We walked to dinner every night, which was great....no driving or parking worries. Condo is a little dated, but who cares? We were there to ski and have fun! Complex was clean, safe and quiet.

Convenient!

Convenient location to lifts following the path at the back of the property. The place was not fancy but was adequate for what we needed. Would suggest more silverware but that would by my only issue.

Great stay!

Wonderful place to stay! Quick walk out of the back door to the quick silver lift. Plus, only a block or two from all the restaurants and bars. Once we checked in we didn’t have to drive once! Highly recommend!

Great Location for access to the slopes and downtown.

Cozy, Comfy beds and pullout couch. Nice to have 2 humidifiers in the unit and the climate control worked well. Its on the first floor and faces the road. The right front burner of the stove did not work and the property management team was unresponsive when I tried to contact them about this and it would have been nice to have been informed in advance about how to make reservations to use the pools and hot tub across the street with the current COVID restrictions since all the time were all booked after I figured it out on our second day..

Nice Condo with Great access to the ski lifts and village

Nice little condo that is perfect for a couple. We used the sofa bed which could probably be replaced, but worked for our visit. The condo is in a great location with excellent access to the Quick Silver chair lift and all the village shops. The late check in process is super easy and parking was a breeze. The condo was clean and the Mgt. staff were friendly and very responsive to our questions. The building has several units in it, but it was very quite and never seemed crowded. We didn't take advantage of the hot tub area, but we saw several other people using it and it looked very nice. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice economical place to stay for the week

Easy place for my family of four to stay during our summer vacation. Nonstick pans were really beat up so didn't feel good about using those but otherwise the condo was just fine. Nice walking distance to Main St. Pool n hot tubs across the street were nice.

Great stay!

The condo was great for our family of three. The place was clean, comfortable and quiet. The location was awesome, walking distance to everything we did in town. Would be great during ski season as peak 9 is directly out the back entrance. Only thing to note, pool towels are not provided so recommend packing a couple (the listing may have stated this and I missed it). Overall great stay and would book again.

Condo just ok. Location great.

Condo was in a great location. But on arrival, not a pillowcase in the place. No knobs on any of the drawers or cabinets, so every time you open something you broke your nails. Also, part of the ceiling had fallen in the shower, which has not been fixed. This could be a great condo, if the owner would pay a little closer Attention. Also, bare minimums in the condo. Don’t expect any saran wrap, seasonings, coffee, etc.Left over from former tenants.

We have an in-house housekeeping inspector who goes through this condo before every guest to ensure that it is perfect for the guest arrival. Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Trails End. The condo had everything we needed! We've stayed at Trails End before with another management company but Great Western Lodging was so much better to work with! Can't wait until next year!

April 2017 Stay

Great facility. Ground floor a bonus but missed the view of slopes we had experienced previously. A bit low on mugs and bowls for four people but GWL supplied 2 more mugs on request.. We also needed to request the bath was drained so obviously recurring problem but was dealt with very quickly. Good directions for late arrival and apartment clean. Small bottle of milk would be very welcome after 24 hours if travel from UK and late arrival after the shops had closed .
