Gresham house is located 25-30 minutes away from Portland Downtown and 15-20 minutes from the Portland International Airport. Our house has a beautiful view, large yard and deck space. Make yourself comfortable in our spacious and cozy home.

Poorly maintained. Kitchen was dirty upon arrival however the host did send someone over to clean once notified. It should be noted that this house is a three-story with the main living area on the ground level and that all the bedrooms are either downstairs or upstairs. If you have someone who has limited mobility, this can be a problem. Prior reviews said that this had all the utensils you needed for cooking, but we found it to be not the case. Plenty of silverware and chopsticks, but limited on usable pans.
Home installation of stove top. Uneven and hard to cook on.
Appears that no one cleaned after the last guest cooked. Grease and food on the stove.
Oven was filthy
Sink was dirty and the worn out sponge was left for cleaning. Found the rest of the sponge in the garbage disposal. Bought cleaning supplies and left them hopefully for the next guest guest.

Excellent Location

Room for all to relax, very clean. Host was very responsive and easy to reach. Enough bedrooms that all could relax and feel comfortable. Information book was very helpful. This was a great location for the wedding venue in Troutdale. Great all around property for a large group!!

So much potential, but fell short

Very outdated. Beds were noisy and old. Kitchen was very difficult to cook in. The dishes are old and not adequate to cook with. There were no measuring cups. There are no matching dish sets. Just random dishes in random places. It looks and feels like the owners went on vacation and decided to rent out there home with no thought put into it. The house is big and has so much potential. The internet was broken when we got there and we were without that for a day or two. The property manager did work to fix problems we had with the property quickly. Our family did have a good time.

Lots of potential - not very clean

My group and I were really looking forward to our stay, especially since the house is in a quiet, lovely neighborhood and conveniently close to shops — definitely one of the highlights of the location. Unfortunately, our experience was dampened by a few issues that made our stay less enjoyable.First, we had to reach out to the host to receive our check-in information, even after our check-in time had already passed. This added unnecessary stress and didn’t set a great tone for our arrival.Once inside, we were disappointed by the overall cleanliness of the home. The walls were noticeably scuffed and stained, the furniture felt worn and neglected, and the entire space had a dusty, unkempt feel. We also found loose hairs in the sheets and dirty hand towels hanging in the bathrooms, which was especially unsettling.While the location of this home was peaceful, convenient, and full of potential, the lack of basic cleanliness and attention to detail made it hard to fully enjoy the stay. With a deep clean and a little more care, this property could be a great option — but as it stands, we wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Was a clean roomy house. Lots of plates and utensils. There is no jetted tub as advertised. It is just a large soaking tub. The shower drain in the small bathroom is very slow to drain. The TV in the master bedroom is not hooked up and has no remote. Very slow to respond on the VRBO app. Overall the house suited our needs for the weekend. Thank you for sharing your home.

Nice but had issues

The listing earlier showed 2 king bedrooms when we booked it, it got changed without notification which was unfortunate. Not enough of many supplies, no extra trash bags or dish towels, dishwasher detergent, very slow WiFi. Spacious and good location.

Family vacation

This property was perfect for my wife and I our 3 adult children and their spouses. Lots of space and we loved the trees along the back of the property.

Beautiful house and stay for my family of 10!!!!! Plenty of room in this very nice house for a large family. 4 bedroom / 3.5 bath with a large den sleeper sofa. Tip
Bring an airbed in place of the sofa bed, which we had with us. Close to many of the area attractions and centrally located to shopping and restaurants. Owners were very helpful and courteous to all our needs and it was a wonderful stay in Gresham. Parking is limited but I was given the heads up from previous reviews and we managed it best we could with 3 vehicles. If you have 2 large vehicles or 3 midsized, you'll be fine and very happy. Other than that tip, the place is recommended and we would stay again in the future. Thank you from a very happy family stay :)

House was the size we were in need of! It was close to where we wanted to be from our family that lives in Oregon. A few appliances need to be replaced either they didn’t work or part of one worked but not the broil part! Could have been a little cleaner. Contacted the owner via email with my concerns and hopefully he will look into them. Some of the restrictions were stated. Would I stay again! Yes, to see if my concerns were taken to heart. Well located for exploring both Portland and the Columbia Gorge. House is large and comfortable. Would be nice to have a bench in the front hall to remove shoes, and small washcloths.

Not clean

This house has so much potential and the space and number of rooms is fabulous. But, it is in dire need of some basic repairs and upgrades. It also was very dirty. Luckily we didn't plan to cook there but there was a list that we left (and I contacted the owner about) of things left untouched and not cleaned before we got there.
