Mandatory $125 Fee paid to Venture Out Community upon arrival.

Waterfront home with concrete seawall for boat dockage. Open water views from the bedroom. Located in Venture Out community with many amenities including pool, kiddie pool, jacuzzi, bocce, tennis courts, pickleball, marina, dual boat ramps, playground area, convenience store, etc.

Overflow parking fee for extra vehicle and or trailer 20ft and under is $5 per night, over 20ft is $10 night paid to the guard booth. Overflow parking is on first come first serve basis, not guaranteed.

Must abide by community rules.

Had to request access information the day of arrival while en route as it was not sent. On arrival, cleaning crew was just leaving. Not sure what they did. Dirty pan in the oven, sheets/mattress pad filthy, popcorn on the couch, back door broken, only one roll of toilet paper, no sponge, no dishwasher as listed. Windows in bedroom would not close and had no screens. Contacted host and was told that the bedding was changed. Umm…don’t think so. No extra bedding/sheets/blankets in the place. A neighbor that apparently assists host brought some toilet paper, placed screws in the windows so the would close and tried to fix back door. After a few hours of back and forth with the host she offered to send the cleaning crew back out. By this time I had already washed most of the bedding but was not planning on having to clean/do laundry the first night of my vacation. The place is antiquated, and old. The doorway to the bedroom is about 5”5” tall and has bumpers so you don’t injure yourself when you try and enter. Two oddly placed mirrors on the ceiling (one angled reflecting the bathroom entrance) made me uncomfortable. Will not be renting here again. AC cold.

Very dated

This little cottage style b&b could definitely use some work and cleaning. The bathroom and shower were both very unclean and could definitely used a good scrub. The bathroom also had no toilet paper which we had to request, which was eventually brought to us. The outdoor furniture and bbq was neglected and out of date. We had to request propane as the tank was empty. Just a lot of oversized and neglect that should have been taken care of, especially for the price. Overall I would say it’s a 2 star.

Everything was as advertised!

Great location! All the amenities. Host was an excellent communicator, and answered questions in a timely manner. No complaints & would stay here again.

Location OK

This property has access to a boat dock and canal. It appears that more than half of it is being used as a timeshare and there are few residents. What was not originally explained to me is that you have to pay a $130 usage fee to pay for security and services. The kitchen utensils are really very basic, the property is in good condition although we didn't use it enough as we were away all the time. The owners are very friendly and quick to respond.

Loved the location but the owner needs to answer emails timely and answer the phone. The owner indicated to check in at the gate but I wasn’t listed as checking in. The guard asked me to call the owner and I got a voicemail but the guard called the same number and got a response.

Small but comfortable.

Everything worked well and was in good shape. We would stay there again for the money. Nice mattress and great water access and view. Our 25' boat fit the dock no problem. One Full size truck fits in the driveway.

Relaxing get away

The place had everything you could possibly need and more. Bed was comfortable. Sitting by the dock was so lovely both morning and evening.
