Highly recommend NOT staying in this house. First was initially overcharged by over 400 on a 3 night stay as they charged extra fees not detailed in the listing, which specifically stated at time we booked, âall fees includedâ. After weeks of back and forth, VRBO refunded the 400. Then at time of check-in we were informed that there was a county ban on any fires, and we canât use the fire pit. We had purchased and transported firewood, bringing a truck that we would not have needed for firewood and incurred extra expenses (firewood, gas & mileage). Fire ban had been in place as we found out later, a month before we booked it, the listing made no mention of this and zero communication until 3:00 pm day of check-in. Then when we arrived, we had to wait until 5:30 PM to enter the home, when check-in time was 4:00 PM due to the house still being cleaned. After making a 5 hour drive and needing to use the restroom this was not just a minor inconvenience. Then after the stay, we were charged an additional 300, for what the management company said was a pet fee, for a 3 night stay. The house, listed as pet friendly and again, the listing at the time of booking stated âall fees were includedâ in the daily rate/price. I raised issue with management company, thus far theyâve not responded. Subsequently, I now see that they have updated listing and removed comment of all fees included and NOW note a pet fee. However, I have screen shots of listing prior to our stay. STAY AWAY!!
