Very good situation also for shops and restaurants. The place is pet friendly, near the paw park beach and natural parks.

We had a great time. The house was comfortable. The yard was fenced which made it easy to have my dog outside with me. We loved the patio and pool. Location was perfect— quiet neighborhood but close to everything.

The house was very clean, stocked with all of the things you need to be comfortable for a family vacation. The pool is nice but it was too cold to use when we stayed. The location is great as it's maybe a 3 minute drive to the nearest public beach. It's a great location between Venice and Englewood and gives you lots of options to visit/eat/play! The house shares a space (like a duplex) so there are neighbors close by - we could not hear them and didn't notice them at all. The host was kind and fairly responsive.

Property was clean and just like the pictures posted. We enjoyed the patio and grill area and used it often. Many consumable items were included which was so nice (dish soap, tp, dishwasher soap etc). I needed to contact property owner regarding other renters next door using the pool, and she responded quickly that the pool and patio was exclusively ours. The bedroom(s) and bathroom layout is a little different (master is accessed via the bathroom or the other bedroom), but is doable. I would rent there again!

Check in was great Description says “house”but found out someone was also renting the upstairs. Pool pump was extremely loud/broken Finally got fixed day before I left. Few other issues that were taken care of I will say that at the end of this fiasco I did get refunded some of my money back

The kitchen was very well equipped for a simple quick meal, or for a full family dinner. More spacious than I expected, very quiet neighborhood, easy access to restaurants and beautiful beaches. Pool is all to yourself!

A disappointing experience. Property had not been cleaned upon our arrival. Neighbors using pool area (Unauthorized use). After cleaning the bathroom and kitchen and mopping the floors we moved into a very dated house in a marginal neighborhood. Kitchen was reasonably equipped but coffee maker was unusable so we purchased one at Walmart for our stay. Host was contacted and insisted that the house had been cleaned but ultimately refunded the cleaning deposit. Host was also advised that propane tank for grill was empty. Host insisted tank had propane in it. It did not so was unable to use the grill during our stay. We left 2 days early due to dissatisfaction. Lesson learned.

We had a wonderful time. The location is good. We went to Venice Beach and Englewood beach(Blind Pass Beach). Centrally located. I hiked at both Oscar Scherer and Myakkahachee Creek Environmental Park. We even stoppped at the Venice Farmer's Market. Totally enjoyed our stay.

Home away from home.

This poolhouse was just perfect for us. It was well equipped for anything we could possibly need. The furnishings were very comfortable and the home was immaculate. The bonus was the grill and pool. We highly recommend this place to everyone.
