Great pet friendly stay! It had everything we needed. We didn’t need to, but you will need laundry detergent if you plan to wash clothes. The location was awesome. Close enough to town for quick food runs, but far enough away that the beach wasn’t crowded. The beach was steps away and well maintained which made for perfect morning beach runs!

Great location. Easy minute walk to beach. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood and beach area. Worked great for a family of 4 trying to enjoy the beach with our dog :)

Great location. Easy access to the beach just a short 1 min walk. Great ocean view. Pet friendly. It was a nice stay for us as an older couple. Our only negative would be the bed was very uncomfortable.

Location 10/10Beach 10/10House: Master bed is extremely firm- maybe bring a soft topper if this is not your preference. Walmart is just a few miles away for food/supplies and this neighborhood and beach are fantastic. House could definitely use a deep cleaning but main surfaces overall were acceptable. Vacuum did not work. The master bath shower drain clogged up with first shower and water stood for 24hrs until rental company plumber could get there. It did not clog again during our stay. There are some other maintenance/upkeep issues with this home that are visibly overdue, but they did not materially impact our stay. Communication with the rental company through the app is not timely or fruitful but the folks who man the telephone line are helpful and responsive.Hose downstairs for rinsing sand off of feet/dogs/beach equipment was great. We would stay here again and we will absolutely explore other short term stays in this neighborhood.

I had a wonderful Christmas get away at the Beachside Pearl. I was looking for a place where I could bring my pups, watch the waves, relax and unwind. This was the perfect spot. The neighborhood was great, very quiet and the beach access and gulf view were amazing. The cottage was very nice and comfortable. It was all I hoped it would be.

Property was clean and well maintained, view and proximity to the beach and ocean was good. Renovation and decor was nice. Beds were too small and mattress was uncomfortable. Overall, a good place to stay.

The house was not really cleaned well. The floors were dirty. Also I messaged the host on Friday evening to let them know the tv remote in the living room was missing and that the garbage disposal was not working. I did not hear back so I called Saturday and was informed maintenance would be by the same day. They never showed. We could not use the right side of the sink because it was clogged from previous food in the disposal and water was backing up. The master bathroom at roaches coming in and out of the tiny holes around the crown molding. This place definitely needs caulking around these areas to keep the roaches from coming out of the walls. Unfortunately, we will not be staying at this unit again at least until repairs have been fixed and the bug issues are resolved. We did enjoy that the beach was so close to the unit but that was the only upside.

Great Location!!

Small but nicely furnished, with everything we needed! This location is so close to the beach it's almost waterfront. Loved it. We did have problems with the door, but it was manageable. We have rented several houses in galveston but this the best location yet!

The view was great and the house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was small but adequate. The only thing I would warn future guests about is the "all fees included" info. When you check out there are lots of fees added at the end that are very high on this particular house.

The house was cute and clean. Perfect location. Does need some attention to deep cleaning. Intake vents for A/C was very dirty. And when i swept the day we arived there was alot of animal hair and sand.

Relaxing Vacation

Our week here was just what we were looking for. From the moment we arrived we knew we were exactly where we wanted to be. The location was perfect. A view of the beach, the sound of the waves and a 300' walk to the beach. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle around the pier, but a very short drive when we wanted to be there or downtown. There was plenty of room for the four of us and we were provided everything we needed. looking forward to staying there again next year.

It was perfect!

The house was exactly as advertised and super clean. You just never know but always hope that the house is exactly what it says it is - in this case it is. Very easy to get to, gorgeous views of the water, quiet neighborhood and an easy walk to the beach. I brought my dog and the neighborhood was super pet friendly as is most of Galveston, which was icing on the cake. Super glad I found this place and will be back!

We enjoyed our stay here and the house is in a great location for easy access and view of the beach. Our family had a great vacation! House was very clean. The area was patrolled by law enforcement routinely. We would definately stay there again! It was perfect for our small group! Just a little feedback for improvement:- The toilet in master bath stopped working the day of departure and needs looked at - garbage djsposal didn't work well - I would recommend replacing the white couch that has many stains.
